“Sometimes I just dont want to live on this planet anymore.”
We only see a filtered representation of what goes on around us. It is filtered in many ways, but most of those ways are negative. We hardly ever hear about people doing wonderful things; which I assure you happens often in Western culture. Just walk around and watch people, see how often they smile and act warmly towards one another. But what we see in the “news” and on FR is likely to concentrate on things we don’t like and don’t want to see. This is natural, as the things we don’t like are threatening and others want to alert us to the danger they see.
The issue is we become hyper vigilant and see danger everywhere without seeing the glorious happenings all around us. Breathe deeply. Take a walk. Admire the sky and the fluffy clouds. Pet the cat.
Have a great day.
Kind Regards.
It’s time to remove the word ‘Great’ from Britain.
Just in time for the muslins to throw said poofter prince from a roof when they take over.
Pray to make a child a sinner.
Millstone around your neck would be appropriate for this fake Christian.
What a lovely post, thank you. Yes I did need to be reminded of the very beautiful and kind things that I witness everyday.
For instance, today I was leaving the supermarket and the wind blew my receipt away. A lovely young man chased the receipt half way across the parking lot and brought it back to me. He didn’t have to, he could have kept walking but he didn’t. I couldn’t say thank you enough and it gave me a much needed boost! I am still smiling thinking about it, LOL.
Thank you, and may you have a great day, too!
I suspect they won’t be allowing comments on this particular essay, lol.
Lol!
At least a wolf in sheep’s clothing is easier to spot in modern times... too bad there are so many of them.
They want the option God save the Queen or God save the Queen?
Kevin Holdsworth has obviously never read Romans 1.
(or rather, he has chosen to just disregard it (after all it’s not like the Word of God, is it ?))
You're reminding me of what happened to Father Brennan in the first "Omen" movie:
It was a church spire. Close enough?
Who is this deviate anyways?
These people are heretics.
Now days preachers want to move up the ladder to bigger churches and bigger paychecks. They come to realize that to move up they must be progressive. I don’t attend church for that reason.
That “Dilly! Dilly!” thing was a big joke with the guys around the living room this Thanksgiving.
Ok close enuff’ lol The bell would hurt more though
And my English ones were Baptist.
