Hey thanks... though that’s kind of an odd moniker (success by worldly or spiritual standards?) I’d take it too if it’s what it seems.

Well anyhow it looks like I’m in an awkward spot. I could easily get “proud of my humility.”

Which goes round to why asking the prayers in the first place. I’ve introduced most if not all these songs at various times in the past on FR and gotten generally good comments, as well as seeing the listener numbers bump up on Soundcloud.

This isn’t even anything really super new (Let’s MAGA is the newest). This is something that has already passed a number of FReep tests, mostly. What I’m asking for is the spiritual impetus behind it that comes from prayer. At one point I thought God would just have someone automagically step up. It ain’t so simple, I have come to understand, and some of that from bible review. PRAYER — asking God for these spiritual successes (which I didn’t immediately see at that website, at least) is part of the push. Some soul or souls cared enough not just to bump up my earthly listen numbers, but asked God to listen and bless.

I can’t completely knock the role of methodology for helping around the edges; however when you got a spiritual bulls eye, the arrow can look pretty dorky and still do what it has to do. In fact Jesus was a dork of his day... redneck is a very close rendition of what He’d be. Redneck has gotten cool lately but I think that’s because people are starting to see that this is a picture of Jesus! Whose fame is well established in American fundamentalist Christendom.

OK, I got confused.

You “can” join that Facebook group apparently without the commercial affiliation to Nashville Christian Songwriters. You just have to agree to what they want.

Since I’m not going to post a bunch of things for promo but just link to my general Soundcloud page for reference, along with explaining why I believe we’re in a special niche and requesting prayer here for the songs’ sake and not even for mine, I believe I can go along with this. I won’t be knocking other songs or spamming with mine. That isn’t the point here. I didn’t notice the prayer part but again that might just be me being new to it. And of course anyone CAN pray.
