Heavenly Father –
As we pass the 99th Anniversary of the Armistice to end the Great War—the War to end all Wars— (November 11, 1918) may we remember only Your Son, the Prince of Peace, will ultimately end all wars. Meanwhile, on this earth, our unclean hearts are much of the cause of wars and quarrels among us.
We confess our sins of wanting what is not our to have, our petty quarrels and hatred without a just cause. We confess we have forgotten You and Your laws. And live like You don’t exist.
Renew our Spirit. Revive us, again. Spark a Great Awakening among Your people. Bring healing to our divided land.
We lift up all our leaders to You, Father. Grant Wisdom and courage to President Trump and Vice President Pence, and the 115th Congress. Protect them from harm on all fronts.
Likewise, protect all those who put themselves in harm’s way to serve others, home and abroad. And especially the first responders during disasters.
In Jesus Name we pray,

My grandfather was in Germany WWI, my father was in Germany WWII, and I was in Germany during Vietnam war. All Army. My grandfather took mustard gas and spent the rest of his adult life in and out of VA hospital.
Lord, help us to remember all who have gone before us, many who gave their lives. Help us to live in peace because we remember how horrible war is and because we know the Prince of Peace.
We look forward to Your coming when the world will finally know Everlasting Peace.

2 CHRONICLES 7:14
If my people who are called by My Name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.
FATHER GOD,
Only You can restore a soul. Only You can heal brokenness and strife. Forgive us where we have failed You. Pour Your SPIRIT out upon us. Come, heal our land.
