The Declaration that YHVH is "Elah-Elahin, God of gods" comes from Nebuchadnezzar, the pagan king of Babylon. He had just witnessed the MIGHTY POWER of Daniel's God.

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Although the word "Eskimo" is no longer used to describe my ancestors, they were from the far north and hunted the waters off Northern Canada. They are now called "Inuit", "MiQ'Mac", or in Canada "First Nation" and in the USA "Native Americans". We just called ourselves "PEOPLE" LOL. In any case, my sister has really gotten into her roots and attends a lot of gatherings both in Northern Maine and in Canada.

One of the more irksome intruders at these gatherings are "New Agers" who have combined Native American Spirituality with Crystals, Zen, Feminism, Goddess-Worship, Witchcraft, and other New Age beliefs into a kind of syncretism. Most of the Native People are Catholic or Evangelical, and this is deeply offensive to them. Even the original folk religions of "The people", while acknowledging the existence of many "spirits", believed in only ONE God. He was called either "Creator" or "Father", and He is/was/will be the ONLY God, or as pagan King Nebuchadnezzar put it, The God of gods.

St. Paul spoke of this when he said that God "put eternity in the hearts" of those who do not know Him. (Ecclesiastes 3)

King Nebuchadnezzar had many opportunities to scrap his myriads of gods and goddesses and worship the One True God (or "God of gods" as he put it) but it took years of homelessness, foraging for food, a break with reality, and insanity to bring him around. Let's hope that the New Agers at the PowWow will not have to go through something that extreme to come to the God of gods. Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

I need to do that. I have a kit, but keep forgetting it.

Careful to read everything included in the “kit” before sending them a sample.

Some of them say that your DNA becomes THEIR property and they can use it any way they want. What if it gets sold to insurance companies or whatever?

Just be careful with whom are sent your “Precious Bodily Fluids”. :-)

I still like the old fashioned way, county records, birth certificates, baptismal records, Journeys of Discovery, and interviews with Elders.

Much more fun than spitting into a tube.

I had had a new age mystic dressed in Native American clothes at a Knap-In event tell me he uses the incense he was trying to sell to dispel evil spirits from peoples houses. I told him that prayer would work better, and he was taken off guard. From that point on he wouldn’t leave me alone until I graciously excused myself from the area he was situated. Indeed, “spiritually” has been hijacked by many and the landing is just as fatal. Praying for the Peace of Jerusalem, for our Nation, for the TRUTH to reside in our children, and our children’s children.
