He can believe that if he wants but I respectfully disagree.
And you must be a member of the local church to be a christian is just like the old rule of some congregations, especially in the late 1700s and early 1800s that limited communion to only members of that congregation, even if you were a member of the same domination, you could NOT take communion with them.
He’s a foreigner. Where he came from religious freedom was not a civic and cultural concept.
It is clear by the declaration of independence that our founders knew who God is and was.
They just believed that people had a right to worship him the way they believed they should, it is no business of congress.
