Counterfeit Christians in the Armed forces will appeal to the Constitution, and not Christ, and they have no local church homewhich means they have no accountability for their souls (Heb. 13:17). This is why so many professing Christian service members will say: We support everyones right to practice their faith regardless if they worship a god different from ours because the Constitution protects this right.
Christian service members who openly profess and support the rights of Muslims, Buddhists, and all other anti-Christian worldviews to practice their religionsbecause the language in the Constitution permitsare grossly in error, and deceived. This article will explain a few reasons why[.]
Also, is it wrong for a professing Christian service member to say, I support the rights of all Americans to practice their faith since the Constitution protects their rights? Absolutely!

Wow. What nonsense.
Judaism shouldn’t be tolerated either? His chosen people?
Last I checked, they were not a Christian sect.
A soldiers job IS to defend the constitution.
God GAVE US free will and the constitution is a testament to that free will.
Reads like something a muslim leader would write.
Dr Sonny Hernandez is the Director for Reforming America Ministries. Since 1997, he has served in the Armed Forces, and is currently serving as a US Air Force Reserves Chaplain.
This sicko has no idea where the 1st Amendment came from or why.
This sicko has no idea where the 1st Amendment came from or why.
He can’t be much of a chaplain.
Sonny Hernandez is a Baptist.
I disagree with him and I’ll use a non-religious explanation for it. What the service members are stating is similar to the following: I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.
That line is typical of how service men and women think of the right to free speech. This writer incorrectly equates support for freedom of religious choice with agreement or acquiescence to non-Christian religious views. They are two totally different things.
The first five words of the First Amendment to the Constitution are some of the most beautiful words in the English language:
No law about what? (1) the establishment of religion or (2) prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
Our military men and women are supposed to defend that Constitution.
Yeah, they never studied history where he got educated.
He seems to be looking for
the US Constitution, KJV.
Counterfeit? Really?
Pharisee much, Mr. Hernandez?
King James the 1st said "No Church of England, no king." The king was backed up by the Bishop and an oligarchy of butt kissers.
He doesn’t write so well either.
Well I think our service people deserve better.
Here’s some Psalm 50, (NKJV) Which describes “God Fearing” politicians and these “Christians”:
16
But to the wicked God says:
What right have you to declare My statutes,
Or take My covenant in your mouth,
17
Seeing you hate instruction
And cast My words behind you?
18
When you saw a thief, you consented[a] with him,
And have been a partaker with adulterers.
19
You give your mouth to evil,
And your tongue frames deceit.
20
You sit and speak against your brother;
You slander your own mothers son.
21
These things you have done, and I kept silent;
You thought that I was altogether like you;
But I will rebuke you,
And set them in order before your eyes.
22
Now consider this, you who forget God,
Lest I tear you in pieces,
And there be none to deliver:
This is a classic human defect that out Constitution addresses. We are talking about 170 BC on that one. And, the problem seems to still be with us.
We were stationed remotely and a church guest speaker essentially said “you must be a member of the local church to be a christian” and military chapels are unacceptable.
I prefer the “where two or three are gathered” mindset...
