He (Martin) also said in a post on Facebook, "Things can always improve. And the Holy Spirit knows what She's doing" (emphasis added).

Pope Francis and Martin, both Jesuits, touting their "god of surprises".

The two greatest enemies of Christianity this century are Jesuits and Muslims.

>>In other words, Martin is pushing the protestant notion that teaching only becomes magisterial if the people “receive” the teaching.

The author takes this heresy by some boy-buggering priest and blames it on Protestants?!? And he makes up some doctrine that actual Reformed Protestants do not believe!

if laws don’t apply to me if i merely say i’m not interested in obeying them

then I am not interested in obeying the law against
bank robbery, either

I know there are linguistic peculiarities...that plural Elohim for instance...but is the original word for “spirit” feminine? I bet not.

And then there’s another fine point. To wit, claiming that chastity is not binding on homosexuals is...insane.

Entirely too many Jesuit hoofprints in the Lord’s house, imho.

Everyone is bound to chastity - even married people are bound to chastity.

2349 “People should cultivate [chastity] in the way that is suited to their state of life. Some profess virginity or consecrated celibacy which enables them to give themselves to God alone with an undivided heart in a remarkable manner. Others live in the way prescribed for all by the moral law, whether they are married or single.” Married people are called to live conjugal chastity; others practice chastity in continence:

And why not? When “authority” rests with “tradition”, supersedes the Gospels, and tradition is malleable and can change. I would say /sarc; but that would be lying.

I’ve read the New Testament book of James. Is there a James 2 from this guy that is also divinely inspired? If not, I will stick with actual scripture - God’s word.

In a video posted on YouTube on September 20, the Jesuit claims the Church's teaching on chastity is not binding on the consciences of the faithful because it has not been "received" by the people.

Actually Father, it has been "received". The 1-2% of the population that practice sodomy might not be too thrilled by it but that population cohort is inconsequential in statistical terms.

Martin is as queer as a two dollar bill.

NO, Protestants do NOT have that notion. He is either lying or ignorant.

‘In other words, Martin is pushing the protestant notion that teaching only becomes magisterial if the people “receive” the teaching.’

This is the problem in a nutshell. A, Evangelicals believe in the word/command of God period. The preceeding statement is a slander and a smear.

B, This attempt to blame everything on the ‘Protestant’ boogieman merely obscures the issue. The problem is with Catholicism. Clean that up before attempting to falsely besmirch others.

If they aren't bound to chastity, then they are subject to Leviticus 20:13. That's still God's law and in effect at this time. Jude writes:
7 Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (Jude :7)

They are an example for us today. These filthy dreamers defile the flesh and despise dominion. The blackness of eternal darkness is reserved for them.

“..Father James Martin is saying that chastity is not required of homosexuals....”

Hmm, so if I was born a male, but one day I decided that I would self-identify as a female lesbian........I could have all the sex I wanted with women or bisexual women?

This really is a slippery slope.
