James Martin is also the featured speaker at Alumni Days at Theological College, the Sulpician seminary at Catholic University of America. Cardinal Donna Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington, is also appearing and receiving an award from the seminary.
Theological College was known, starting in the 1970’s, until the 1990’s, as “Theological Closet.” Considerable reform took place, but it is clear that the institution is slipping backward under Bergoglio.
Cardinal O’Brien, patron of the Knights of the Holy Sepulchre, is a notorious homosexual, already exposed by Michael Voris a couple of years ago.
It is my contention that the 'elite' always pretend to go along with the current fashion in order to advance themselves to 'elite' positions and remain there.
So when Christianity was in the ascendancy in America these 'elite' pretended to be good Christians. Now they are pretending to be good SJW's.
I would not be surprised to find out that the vast majority of members of this order either were OK with Fr. Martin, or really don't care who the keynote speaker is.
Certainly there are a few true Christians in the ranks, one of whom 'smuggled' the letter to Voris, but that doesn't mean that the vast number of members in the ranks share the opinions of those who contacted Church Militant.
Voris has got to stop peddling this "poor Pope Francis is surrounded by untrustworthy advisers" line. It's completely lame by now and makes Voris look like a naive Pollyanna.
