That pretty much says it all.
Why would some one who hates Christianity and Catholicism want to become a priest or Pope? Maybe he is gay?
Power.
#NotMyPope
So far all the public statements made by the Pope have been about secular issues: global warming, economic justice, immigration, the ecology, etc. It was not like that with John Paul II or Benedict. They were more concerned with Jesus’ original message of personal salvation. When Francis refers to the “message of the Gospels”, I don’t know anymore what message he means that has to do with purely political goals. Jesus said “My kingdom is not of this world”.
If you’ve ever read AA 1125 you would understand. It is all about destroying the church from within.
Who can do more to harm the Catholic Church—a grouchy atheist taxi driver in Buenos Aires, or a Pope?
Well, he OCCASIONALLY talks about Jesus, to keep up appearances.
He has NO FRIENDS—i.e., no friends from his youth, from the Jesuits, from the clergy who served under him. Just Rabbi Skorka, and that gay-married professor.
Everyone who has known him over the past fifty years says he cares little or nothing about Jesus, and cares about power more than anything else. He is irascible, vindictive, and malicious.
He has been telling Catholics for years that he is not a Catholic—by refusing to genuflect or kneel before the Blessed Sacrament. I think any informed Protestant has to understand what an explicit, screaming declaration of unbelief this is.
His election was engineered by the worst perverts and scalawags in the College of Cardinals. There’s no solid evidence that it was invalid.
The only Catholics he fools are those who are both very pious and ignorant. The wicked only pretend to be fooled. Well-instructed faithful Catholics pray for his death or resignation.
Nail on the head. But is there anyone here in FR that didn’t already know that?
I’ve read AA 1125 three times. Unknown man in a car accident has a document explaining how men who hate the Church learn to keep quiet, enter seminaries and work in parishes.
Thankfully, evil forces are always on a short leash held by Jesus. Pity belongs to the people who hate the Church, since they will regret their hatred in the next life.
And that's reflected even more now than ever in the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).
What is AA 1125, please?
(That's what they should have said, during that election.)
The strange thing is that he was punished by Jesuits in his own country for being too conservative. Do you have a citation for him not kneeling?
That's a bizarre thing to say. Why wouldn't you pray for his conversion? It's happened before.
He wasn’t “conservative.” He was autocratic.
Regarding his refusal to kneel—It’s on the internet.
Simple. Because I don’t think it’s possible.
