POST FALLS, Idaho — The nuns at St. Dominic's school and convent near Post Falls said teens have been trespassing on their property and verbally assaulted them for a long time.
The nuns said the teens will come right into their main parking lot at St. Dominic’s. When nuns are just a couple of dozen yards away, the teens will swear and yell insults directly at them.
The nuns who live at the convent said they believe the teens are going out of their way to harass them.
"It's becoming more and more aggressive,” Sister Aimee Dominique said.
The nuns said the occurrences are also becoming more frequent. The most recent incident happened Monday night.

I'm sure that's hard on a nun.
Some nuns in need of help and some teenagers in need of a hickory flavored attitude adjustment. I’m a Protestant but I’d be glad to assist a Catholic sister or brother in need.
What a low thing to do. Pick on someone who is not going to be a threat to you. Bullies and cowards.
What about the local police, what are they doing about this?
No description, really, of the thugs (that I saw when driving past this post). . .therefore, very likely muslimes.

When I was a Kid I was taught to be polite and address Nuns as “Sister”, even if they were just walking by us on the street.
The lack of Respect for people and institutions in this day and age is beyond what would be expected in a truly Civil Society.
It almost seems a natural law that if there is not some severe remedy it must escalate as insults get to be old hat and something more is required for the thrill. If it be Moslems then I think we know where it is headed.

Is it just “obscenities,” or are the teens referencing specific issues, such as - perhaps - gay rights, or abortion, or perhaps Catholicism or Christianity in general?
Why do I suspect that a shotgun loaded with pork rinds would be more efficacious? Unless of course it is kosher salt.

Same here. I was raised in a nominally Lutheran family and us kids were always very respectful of nuns. We still are, though the local "hippie nuns" don't generate a whole lot of empathy.

If this is happening in Post Falls (surprising to me), things are going to hell even quicker than we suspected.
Post Falls is a suburb of Spokane, Washington.
Spokane has a thriving muslim community.
Idaho has an open carry law. The nuns need to see if that will help instill some respect.
