In an interview published by the Vatican newspaper LOsservatore Romano, an Egyptian Jesuit has warned that the dominant strain of Islam is a religion of the sword.
Father Henri Boulad, a native of Egypt and former rector of the Jesuit college in Cairo, said that there is a marked contrast in the Quran between the verses that Muhammad wrote in Mecca and those that he wrote after moving to Medina. The former are peaceful, he observed, but the latterwhich make up most of the Quranare an appeal for war, violence, and the struggle against Christians.

Uh oh. Common sense. Dey ain’t gonna like dat.
It’s a purely antagonistic religion that’s at war with every other one. Mohammed wanted something to motivate his troops and compete against Judaism and Christianity. If they thought they could get virgin whores in the afterlife for killing Jews and Christians, they’d be willing to die in his Jihads.

For someone to think Islam is anything but a violent proposition requires them to loose sight of the manner of its expansion through centuries of non-stop conquests where the only delays from one battle to the next are too often those associated with the time of year or transporting troops from here to there.
Islam is a Cult
It's a sworded religion that's also a sordid religion.
