Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP/VICE PRESIDENT PENCE and AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.
Father, we come to You today thankful for Your LOVE. A love so great You sent Your only SON to die in our place so that we might have eternal life.
Lord I ask that we might have so great a LOVE for one another. May we work together to show Your love to the WORLD that they may know Your Love also.
“By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers” (1John 3:16). Lord I truly see our President and Vice President sacrificing their lives for the sake of their fellow Americans. I am greatful for their work ethics. Even now VP Pence spent his Easter Break sacrificially in harm's way in Asia. Father bless him and let his journey be successful in more ways than even thought possible. We ask that you bring Congress back with a sense of purpose to get things done for their American Brethren. Let them act out of LOVE for our Nation.
We thank you also for our military and First Responders who lay down their lives daily for their country, neighbors and families.

9 If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, 10 no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. 11 For he will order His angels to protect you wherever you go. 12 They will hold you up with their hands so you won’t even hurt your foot on a stone. 13 You will trample upon lions and cobras; you will crush fierce lions and serpents under your feet!
14 The Lord says, “I will rescue those who love Me. I will protect those who trust in my name. 15 When they call on Me, I will answer; I will be with them in trouble. I will rescue and honor them. 16 I will reward them with a long life and give them my salvation.”
FATHER GOD,
SHELTER. REFUGE. GOD MOST HIGH. You are our GOD and we trust You. Thank You for Your sure and mighty promises. You will be with us in time of trouble. When we call, You will answer. You give us salvation.
In times like these we are confident. You will hide us in the cleft of the rock and we can find rest in Your shadow.
In JESUS’ Name we pray. Amen.

HOLY FATHER, we find it more difficult to turn the other cheek and love our enemy. We ask for your intervention in bringing us together in peace. There are those who prayed for a miracle and acknowledge that YOU, indeed, revealed Your Power to us. We have been blessed and we pray once again for such a miracle. They wish to destroy us and this nation, to banish YOU from our daily lives. Our enemy, together en masse, denied YOU three times yet YOU still love them. Please instruct us on how to follow YOUR example.
We pray fervently in the name of JESUS CHRIST, our Salvation.
