Moscow, March 22, Interfax - The Russian Church official is sure that Lenin's body should be buried when there are enough preconditions for it.
"I believe that Lenin certainly should be moved out and I am sure this question will be settled sooner or later," head of the Synodal Department for Church, Society and Media Relations Vladimir Legoyda said on air Dozhd TV channel.
According to him, it will take place "when it doesn't give grounds for splits."
Legoyda does not agree that "sometimes they make a touchstone of it: if you are an Orthodox Christian, you should demand to bury Lenin's body, if you don't agree that he should be buried tomorrow, then what an Orthodox Christian you are."
The church official also gave his personal evaluation of Stalin's personality. Answering the question whether he considers him "an executor", Legoyda said, "From my point of view, yes
We will bury you.
Nicholas II and his family were doused with acid and dumped in a pit by the side of a road in Sverdlovsk.
Give the same to Lenin.
Bury him under 100 million marbles to symbolize his victims.
I live just north of Yellowstone National Park, I’d love to bury him at the bottom of several outhouses.
Let me know, Russia. Happy to help you out.
I love that Ho Chi Minh was similarly put on display in some Soviet style blockhouse when he’d stated he wanted his remains scattered in South, Central and North Vietnam.
Ha-ha.
They should bury him in a landfill.
Stick a wick in it’s belly button and use it for a candle!
“Nicholas II and his family were doused with acid and dumped in a pit by the side of a road in Sverdlovsk.”
Was that after the poisoning, shooting and beheading?
We were in Moscow in 1997. Our host took us to see Lenin - he was petrified then - and that was 20 years ago.
He should be buried with his coffin filled with pig flop, then dropped in a deep hole, with an outhouse built atop it. Charge a ruble to use the outhouse. The Russians would make a killing!
Still waiting for comment from Yoko........
I’m so embarrassed, closing in on 20 years a member, that I do t know how to post links. In any event check out Scientific American of 4/3/15 for a fascinating discussion. He’s mostly wax, bondo, and fiberglass at this time, so what does it matter? And what with the “give ground for splits” even mean? And is it true that Stalin managed probate cases? I always thought he was an executioner, not an executor, but what do I know.
