A row over free speech has broken out at a north-east university, following a display of posters advertising an anti-abortion protest.
The 40 days of Life event, featuring people holding signs and prayer vigils, has been taking place daily outside the city’s maternity hospital since March 1 and aims to cover the whole of Lent until April 13.
But some student groups at Aberdeen University have expressed outrage at the Catholic chaplaincy on the campus displaying posters for the meeting and have signed a mass letter calling for their removal.
The building is owned by the Catholic Church, who insist that abortion is morally wrong.
The letter, signed by nearly 250 people and groups at the time of writing including the Aberdeen Feminist Society, states: “While we understand the church’s stance on reproductive issues, we feel that it is deeply inappropriate to display posters encouraging people to take action outside maternity clinics

I spent 7 years in the military and took classes part time and then went to college on the old GI Bill for 2 years to graduate...
I guess I’m kinda weird...
Oh and one of my classmates was 70 years old ...he had put his children and grandchildren through college before he started himself...

If someone is 29 years old and still feels the need for formal study of either sex or gender...how do you go to job interviews and expect the employer to keep a straight face?
The left are professionals at calling good evil, black white and right left. They corrupt our language to their own purposes.

My husband fooled around until he was 29. He returned to school and became a mechanical engineer. We lived and worked in Saudi Arabia for five years...for money, no other reason to go there. His salary here at the time was $850.00 as an engineer. His starting salary there was $5,000.00/month.
Also an AMERICAN working for Saudi ARAMCO has to pay $0.00 federal income tax...ZIP to the IRS on the first $80,000.00 earned. By now that number is probably $100,000.00 We made a friggin' fortune, for us.
And since we LIVED over there we had to pay $0.00 state income tax. Life was good.
We TRAVELED, via the company, to China, India, Syria, Jordan, Egypt (twice, since they really love American tourists) Bahrain, the Emirates, Turkey, Greece and Europe.
Then, when we came home we visited our own country.
Our final trip home we landed at LAX and when we got off the plane I walked into the airport and KISSED the LAX linoleum floor. Was I EVER glad to be HOME.
Abortion is legal but that doesn't make it right. Abortion is illegal in Saudi Arabia. Hard to fathom that Muslims have it right and Christian Europe and America have it wrong.
There will be a RECKONING one day for ALL those:
* females who had their own flesh and blood murdered;
** males who allowed THEIR own flesh and blood to be murdered;
**hospitals, doctors, nurses and staff who participated IN ANY WAY in the murder of God's youngest and most innocent creations/souls...babies; and
****insurance companies/medical plans that paid for/covered the murder of God's youngest and most innocent creations/souls...babies.

I already told my HR department to place any resume from an Ivy League school at the bottom of the pile, unless I can see some certs to go along with the resume.
