This pope is the best thing to happen to catholicism in several hundred years. It has forced catholics to really look at what is wrong at the top and now realize they have been lead astray and to now go back to the original Bible, study it and live by what it says.
Maybe add to the definition of discernment "and choose the good." This Pope reminds me of the old line from Adlai Stevenson, "An editor is someone who separates the wheat from the chaff and then prints the chaff."
Yes. He’s very much anti-Trump. I would not be surprised if it later comes out that he cooperated with the hillary and sanders campaigns.
More worrying is that Bishop Jorge seems to have the spirit of an anti-Christ.
FINALLY, a pope the New York Times can get behind. And oh yeah, Trump is evil.

The Anti-Christ, which literally means anyone that stands in the stead of Christ as the Messiah has had many names and titles. Instead of Christ is a better translation. Who is it that better illustrates this than someone that intercedes in the communication between man and God?

I thought he was big "illegal", "undocumented immigrant" fan.
At the very least he is a hypocrite.
He's also completely inconsistent.
He told the western world, i.e "Christians/Catholics" this week to have fewer kids, to save "mother earth".
Did he address the Muslim world?
