Much more than just Joseph breaking the modern day version of the commandments. Of course this was before the law when multiple hein and shein was allowed.
I approve of the article as a wholoe, with one correction:
“2. People are created as gendered [distinctively male or female] beings.”
No, we are not “gendered”; we are sexed. Gender is a linguistic characteristic, not a human one. (C. S. Lewis understood the difference.)
Let us not play into the degradation of language and obfuscation of reality that fuels the Left: They are the ones who started this abuse of English in order to further their agenda.
“What about people who never marry, who are too ugly and unwanted?”
It is true not all people in God’s providence get a spouse.
It is not always a great thing to get a spouse. It is supposed to be a good thing. However, it is a sinful world and sometimes it can be horrific (abuse or whatever). So consider that at least some are spared.
Also an “ugly” or “unwanted” person can usually find a spouse if they are not overly particular. I have also noticed that one man’s “ugly” is another man’s “beautiful.” There are some men considered handsome and some women considered beautiful that I think are very unattractive. If you look around you will see this played out in real life.
Anyone desiring a spouse must first make him/herself as desireable as possible in personality as well as appearance; and secondly put themselves out there again and again until they find someone, enduring the rejection that we all basically go through until you find someone who responds to you.
“Read on to the 29th as but one example and see how Joseph got down with his two cousins and both of their hand maids. Reminds me of Haight-Ashbury days.”
Many sins are described in the Bible. They are not prescribed. They are described.
God’s plan stands.
Well, my husband was 50 years old when our baby girl was born two years ago. His father, a veteran of the Pacific Theater in WWII, is 94 and still practicing law and running and shooting basketball free throws. He fathered nine children, the last in his late 40’s. My husband’s maternal grandfather was 63 when his first child was born and he lived to be 98. I’m certainly glad none of these men decided they were too old to be a father or worried more about building up a bigger bank account than building up their family.
David and Solomon’s sins brought awful fruit which the Bible clearly details. Their behavior, sexually, is condemned.
being single and living a chaste life is also a vocation from God, not everyone is created to get married.
God has a plan for each and every person.

LOL! The actual rule is: Be worthy of your wife’s respect and stop making her out the moron.
Got it bassackwards.
The Bible always commands the wife first and for her to honor and obey her husband without condition (Eph 5:22-24; Col 3:18; 1 Pet 3:1-6). Nothing about a husband must first “be worthy of you wife’s respect.” You’re spewing today’s lies of the serpent that has deceived Eve.
The fact is today the serpent has wrapped itself around Eve who has been deceived and the deadly, destructive, man-hating, baby-killing, dyke-driven, family-destroying “women’s movement” is the result.

Adam was as taken in by Eve as she was by the serpent.
What do you think about Ephesians 5 which pretty muchs puts husbands and wives on equal footing with instructions to each to try to see how the other thinks - men value respect and woment value love:
Instructions for Christian Households 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church 30 for we are members of his body. 31 For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. 32 This is a profound mysterybut I am talking about Christ and the church. 33 However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband. p>It does call the husband the head but it also tells him (indirectly) not to get all high and mighty about it.
or - Colossians 3:19 Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.
Wrong answer McFry.
Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression. 1 Tim 2:14.
[Women] are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law. 1 Cor 14:34.
[A]s the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Ephesians 5:24.
I see you opted to ignore the rest of my post - Biff
Nope it all applies, Biff.
