The Bible makes it very clear that babies and children do not go to hell...even if their parents are wicked.

An Atheist told me that "my God" can't exist because A righteous God wouldn't throw babies and children into hell. This video is my answer.

A righteous God doesn’t cease to exist because an atheist thinks it.

If God wants to send babies and children to Hell, that’s His business. Ceasing to believe in God because He wasn’t formed in your own image is ridiculous.

A righteous God will do as he pleases

Fortunately the God of the Bible has a loving forgiving nature

LOL...the problem is that with most of those knuckleheads it’s not that simple.

Always a deflection. Worrying about babies and children, and the groups that have never heard the Gospel might be condemned to hell.

The real response to the atheist is that God will do all His good and holy will, and if that is true, where will He send the atheist, who has heard, but rejected Him?

Tell that to the Amalekites.

God defies definition. God is merciful but only to those who receive His mercy.

My understanding is Calvinists believe they’d do to heaven if they are preordained. Catholics believe they go to perfect peace in Limbo where they may eventually go to heaven. Evangelicals believe they go to heaven because they believe in an age of accountability. I’m not certain what Lutheran believe officially though.

Thank you. I think I picked up this line of thought from listening to Ravi Zacharias, and several other Christian apologists and pastors.

I don’t think I’ve seen your Answers For Atheists #1 video.

The God of the NY is merciful to those who accept His grace. God being God can do as He pleases

To: AppyPappy; All

The Bible has the truth. It’s called the age of accountability. Therefore, GOD judges if the child is old enough to be accountable for his own salvation.

Unless a child is attending a Bible-believing church at a young age, a child would not necessarily be aware of truth of GOD in their life.

Therefore, I DO NOT believe that GOD sends children to Hell just because they have not chosen Jesus as their Savior; simply because it was never taught in their home/school.

It’s GOD decision as to the child’s age of accountability.

The current paradigm is that God is like our employee. He longs to do good things for us. Our participation frees Him to contribute to our well-being. Until we enter into the equation, He is shackled by us.

If you are late on your light bill, believing that God will take care of it will free Him to do just that.

I used to think this was cult thinking until I started visiting churches. People seem to like this paradigm. It makes them feel empowered.

I’m not sure I know where to find “Age of Accountability” in the Bible.

Well, you can go to any online Bible program, and begin searching for .. child accountability; or any notation about children.
