This guy has been an open heretic for years. So Pope Francis promotes him to Cardinal. Not a surprise, I’m afraid. The Church is the Church, and I will continue in it until I die, God willing. But what really disturbs me about all this nonsense is how many potential or former Catholics have been driven out of the Church, and their souls put in danger, by these idiot “leaders.”

Anyone can fool the priest.

Ultimately it between the person taking communion and God.

Donna wants his fag friends to be able to receive Communion without having to repent of their sins.

Wuerl is a bald-faced liar. He has told this lie repeatedly, and he has been corrected repeatedly—most notably by Cardinal Burke, and by Dr. Ed Peters.

At this point, there can be no doubt: Wuerl is a deliberate, obstinate liar.

Canon 915 MANDATES Denial of Communion when a person is obstinately persisting in MANIFEST, GRAVE sin.

I.e., the “state of the soul,” has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Wuerl has been peddling his lie for more than a decade. He peddled it in interviews during the two sin-nods.

This is what Ed Peters has called attention to repeatedly: pretending that can. 915 does not exist.

This lie is found also in Amoris Laetitia. The Pope says that adulterers who FEEL that they are not in the state of mortal may receive absolution and Communion. That’s what in the notorious footnotes.

This is how he rationalizes giving communion to Pelosi, Biden, Leahy, Mikulski, etc., etc.
