Blessing Adultery: Christ the Judgmental vs. Francis the Humble [Catholic Caucus]
Remnant Newspaper ^ | January 12, 2017 | Michael Matt / Christopher Ferrara

In this episode of The Remnant Forum, Michael Matt and Christopher Ferrara break out the Catholic microscope and take a careful look at the controversial few paragraphs and footnotes of the Pope’s apostolic exhortation, Amoris Laetitia. Is Cardinal Raymond Burke a troublemaker? Is Francis merely attempting to be pastoral? Merciful? At the heart of all of this are the words of Jesus Christ which forbid adultery WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. Trouble is, Francis wants exceptions.

Does this mean that Christ the Judgmental must bow to Francis the Merciful? Is this the 21st century’s version of the Arian Crisis?

‘E’s an ‘umble man, ‘e is.”

And like Uriah Heap, he’s a positive festival of pride and duplicity.

Does this mean that Christ the Judgmental must bow to Francis the Merciful?

"But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach a gospel to you besides that which we have preached to you, let him be anathema." (Gal 1:8)

Is "Francis the Merciful" (the Scripture-twisting, doctrine destroying, perversion-prattling, seething with hate, heresy-peddling saboteur) exempt from that admonition?

He seems to think so:

“And I am the pope, I do not need to give reasons for any of my decisions. I have decided that they have to leave and they have to leave", Pope Francis

The above was his response to his dismissal of three orthodox priests from the CDF.
