Chinese communist gangs severely beat Christians

Communist gangs hired by authorities severely beat several Christians in Hebei province in China after they resisted the destruction of an officially registered church.

It isn’t the Christians they should be worried about ... it’s the Christians’ Daddy.

Who can take us from Him?

And He has called us through His Son, given us to Him.

Who can take us from Him?

And He has sent the Holy Spirit into our hearts as a seal upon us.

There’s something big happening here and what we will yet be has not been revealed ... but we are told that when He shall return that we will be like Him.

Confession: I cannot even wrap my head around a world without sin ... blood bought saint I may be but I simply do not have a frame of reference, any experience of life where that old body of death is truly and fully gone.

Our parents understood being holy ... but they wanted morality (knowing good and evil) and right now I’m stuck with the latter and though I positionally, in Christ, have the former it is still in this earthly tent, as Paul called it.

Paul, still in that his earthly tent, saw things he couldn’t even possibly adequately describe ... so he didn’t try.

Realize that when we are told that neither eye has seen nor ear has heard all that He has in store for those who love Him ... if this new Heaven and Earth were as much identical to this Heaven and earth but without sin that alone is beyond our ability to understand it as we are now.

Again, it’s a perspective thing.

Gotta reckon there bring no more sin at all is just one note of the score He’s preparing, just the door prize that comes when this mortal puts on immortality.

“Sock it to me.” the old politician once said.

“Drop kick me, Jesus, through the goal posts of life.” sang the song.

Yes, Christians need to remember that He is in control and to be thankful and to rejoice in all things because their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Pray for strength when you face them and use the strength that He provides. Pray for each other too.

“Communists” can do nothing. Neither can Muslims or anyone else. Faith that overcomes cannot be terrorized. Oh ... they may stamp their feet and make pouty faces for a short while ... make’em jealous ... make’em want what you have.

... or at least like that old movie have them, somewhere in their hearts where they cannot lie to themselves or hide it from themselves anymore, screaming in terror that we are going to a better kingdom!
