A parish priest in the south of Italy enraged parishioners by dressing the Virgin Mary in a Muslim burqa for his church’s Christmas Nativity scene, adding a boatful of refugees and a rainbow flag in place of the star of Bethlehem.
The pastor of the parish of Saints Joachim and Anne in Potenza, Father Franco Corbo, found himself face to face with an angry mob of demonstrators gathered outside his church on Wednesday to protest his provocative display.

Even priests can be ignorant fools.Since priests are human beings, ignorance and being a fool is part of the price of humanity. Why would they NOT EVER be ignorant and foolish?
Perhaps the world expects them to be perfect. THAT is foolish. THEY have to go to the Sacrament of Reconciliation too. Why wouldn't they?

For “sensitivity training”? There is such a thing as being too sensitive. You don’t learn to live with and accept evil, you oppose it. Jesus didn’t rebuke sinners, but he rebuked sin, and didn’t say it’s OK for the sake of being tolerant.
