A Little Space and Grace for America for the Moment - What Will You Do?

Countless conservative talk show hosts throughout these 50 states are daily trying to sustain their panic stricken masses with optimistic appraisals and fictitious ideas and remedies that can NEVER fix our current decimated fiscal state, let alone our catastrophic social crisis that has EXPONENTIALLY sent our national fiscal national debt to the moon. My dear friends, How do you save a steel sinking ship when it is filled with 95% water? The obvious answer… You do not! You abandon ship and hope that the sinking ship does not suck you into its abyss when it goes down to Davy Jones locker. That is where we are today here in America. Either you have the courage and fortitude to face this REALITY or you do not. The choice is yours, but whatever you choose, NOTHING will stop this ship from sinking! Do NOT deceive yourselves about our day and hour! My friend, NO Trump victory will stop the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse from their soon up coming horrific ride (Rev. 6).

No, but God can answer prayer.

God can send a person to save a nation.

I heard a Bible teacher talking about the “4 Horsemen” and
his take on that passage is that it has ALREADY occurred.
He said that the WHITE HORSE was the Roman Catholic church,
the RED HORSE was Communism, the BLACK HORSE was Communism,
and the “chloros” PALE HORSE is Islam. Every description of
these horses makes sense. (He said that in the original
language, the word “chloros” meant GREEN, but that the
translators in that instance thought that green didn’t make
sense. Thing is, in every instance where the word “chloros”
occurs in the Bible, “green” is the translation; but they
thought that a “green horse” didn’t make sense and just
settled on “pale” instead. - Tne color of Islam IS GREEN!)

There’s a much larger force than Trump coming to town here.

MUCH larger.

I don’t know how anyone could miss it.

By the way... I try to be a knowledgeable fisherman, though my bait may look weird.

Make hay while the sun shines, etc.

The point is that it isn’t just Donald Trump here. It’s something larger that propelled him, AND Mike Pence (very notable to me, as he has a credible gospel answer to the “gay” set, a bull that few Christians try to take by the horns). Donald Trump scarcely seems to personally care about that issue, so that can not be “why” he selected Mike Pence, nor by far would Mike have been the only candidate that might have petitioned Donald to be running mate.

It would be a big mistake to see this as about the politicians — maybe not quite as dramatic as the deliverance of the Hebrews from Egypt was, perhaps, but still that wasn’t quite just about Moses either.

Of course we know what the very end of the story is. But I don’t think God sets a large deliverance up without a lot of people to be delivered too. It might not be a common biblical theme to talk about the Lord scheduling in a lot of the elect, but that is perfectly logical under the reasoning of Romans and other texts that deal with the interplay between the sovereignty of the Lord and the choice extended to men. It has also historically happened in recent times, e.g. John Knox era Scotland. My hunch about what may have happened: those stern Scottish Calvinists prayed for it in faith and God heard from the foundation of the world in a way that no man can explain.

It’s still a formally unanswered question why America, or the whole New World, does not show up explicitly in Revelation. I’ve a theory or two here, like I have for many things, some of which pan out and some don’t. If there is a literal Rapture (caught up in the clouds) this will rob an area of the Christians it had. Could it possibly be... please hear me out... that America is going to get heavily populated with the elect again (who will gain, and won’t lose, their salvations) — and it even might extend to other parts of the New World. The enemy will, of course, be seething about it, but there will be little he can do. Then, the rapture. Now the Americas are sans Christians, but those people who remain and still won’t believe are going to think of the Americas as “that ghastly Christian place.” And the wrath of hell (not of God, but of hell) will fall upon the geographic land because of the memory of what it was. Maybe it will be nuked silly. Nobody will want to live there any more, with radiation that will make Chernobyl look like nothing. This might even be the source of some of the apocalyptic imagery.

At the risk of being a bit irreverent here (actually wickedness is not owed any reverence)... that “green horse” could be our modern environmentalists with their story of climate change.

If there is anything the devil is prone to, it’s fits of vindictive rage. He’d try to bring about climate change just because, even if civilized mankind had been in no danger of provoking it previously. I know the struggle myself, having tried to find vindication in ungodly anger and wrath rather than by leaning on the astounding mercies of Jesus.
