Join with fellow FREEPERS to pray for PRESIDENT-ELECT DONALD TRUMP/VICE PRESIDENT-ELECT MIKE PENCE and AMERICA: Government, Family, Military, Business, Education, Churches, and the Media.
This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 1 JOHN 5:14 Religion Forum threads labeled [Prayer] are closed to debate of any kind.
We rejoice in Your goodness to us. Thank you for raising up a strong, assertive man like President-Elect Trump to help turn the direction of leadership in our country around. Keep him from evil. Give him a heart that loves You. Cause him to seek Your counsel and wisdom. Surround him with wise and godly people. Protect his family and give them peace that can only come from You. May they acknowledge Your goodness.
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? – Psalm 8:3-4
You have bestowed on us immeasurable grace, mercy and salvation. Even heavenly angels long to look at the work you have wrought in us. Oh Lord, let our hearts be steadfast on You. Don't let us wander and meddle in the foolishness of this world, but have us seek to store up rich treasures in heaven which rust and mold can not destroy. Purify our hearts daily by Your living Word. Let us stir up one another to good works, even more so as the time of Christ's appearing grows closer. Let us not be like the foolish virgins who slumbered without the measure of Your Spirit upon them. Lord the harvest is ripe, let us not grow weary in the calling to share the Good News with others. Prepare stony hearts even here on Free Republic to “Come and see” and follow us along on the journey to the great reward You have laid up for us. Without Your Holy Spirit we can do nothing, so Lord draw these men and women to these prayer threads. Let it encourage them that we indeed are not alone. We are being led by the Creator God to the sure victory. Oh Lord add to the saints here. Disciple us in Your Word.
Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world. James 1:27 NIV
Now Dear Lord, we especially raise up ALL traditional, God fearing families to adopt children in the US foster care system and also anywhere there are orphans who do not have the loving permanent earthly care of a mother and father to advocate and love them unconditionally like You love us.
Lord, on behalf of children who have become pawns of the sexually deviant, demonic forces and people in power we ask for these abuses to stop. Let these children find the peace that passes all understanding. Crush the enemy of our souls and his pedophile ring, expose the works of darkness that surround us. Dispose of any reprobate minded leaders in any position of authority. Cause those with sound minds that are in authority to make prosecution of pedophilia a top priority. Bring justice for these little ones. You are the God who sees and knows all.
Lord, let us fellowship and feast on the Bread of Life that came down from heaven, Jesus who wears the Victor's crown! In His precious name I pray that it may be done according to Your Word and on earth as it is in heaven. Amen!

Amen! and Amen! I echo your prayers to protect children and that more people invite the Holy Spirit to enter their lives.
Father God, our Love, our Redeemer, we lift up those in the Appalachians and in Israel who are in the path of wildfires. We lift up the first responders and firefighters. Father, we ask for their protection. We praise You for sending the rains to east Tennessee.
With the relief that Your perfect rain brings, may people praise You and shout out that You are God of Mercy and Love.
Heavenly Father, if it is Your Will, may Jill Stein cease sowing discord. We pray for her - she is teaching people to hate her and be angry with her. We pray that she would seek a land repaired under You. We pray that she and all the agitators and aggravators would cease fighting Your blessings. Multiply the wisdom and patience You have bestowed upon Trump and Pence, that they would lead us to victory in Jesus!

FATHER GOD,
Thank You for giving Your only Son, JESUS CHRIST, to became the Sacrifice for our sins. He is the LIGHT of the world Who shines in darkness. Christ’s light can never be extinguished. He died that we may live, and His light shines in all those who believe in Him.
Thank you for rescuing our nation from certain demise by giving us God fearing leaders in DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE. Thank You for blessing them when the media and political pundits curse them. Clothe their accusers with disgrace and humiliation, and may DONALD TRUMP/MIKE PENCE praise and give You the glory for their victories.
Guide the transition team as they fill the positions in the TRUMP Administration. May the HOLY SPIRIT direct them to choose honest and qualified leaders who will serve America and not themselves. May they follow the U.S. Constitution and look to You for Wisdom as they govern. May our nation’s good deeds shine for all to see, so everyone will give You praise. In You, GOD, we put our trust.
Bless and guard our military and first responders as they risk their lives to uphold the peace and defend our nation. Give them honor and respect for the jobs they do. Bless and provide for their families. Protect the firemen as they extinguish the fires in Tennessee. Cause the winds to cease and may You provide much needed rain to the region. Help those who have lost their homes and livelihood. Let this be a time for the church to shine.
May our light shine as we focus on You, LORD, during the Christmas season. We are the reason why You suffered and died. All honor, glory, power, and glory belong to You.
