I have been praying that God reveals the truth to the American people and then let them choose. If Hillary wins America gets the consequences. If Trump wins then we have taken the 2nd chance that God has offered us.

That’s how I see it.

Actually, I’m of the opinion that if Hillary wins, the countdown for the end times begins in earnest.

Agree, the countdown may have already started.

I’m suspecting so.

From what i understand of end times prophecy, there is no reference to the US in it, or ver y little.

The stage is set anyhow, whether the US is a player in it or not.

I don’t think the article suggests that God’s timing isn’t perfect. Just that we need patience and to trust Him.

Exactly. Also, a certain televangelist has said the same thing as this article in slightly different words (paraphrasing from memory):

"God is never late, but He generally isn't early either. Why not? So that we can grow and learn to trust Him."

"Also, it is my experience that detachment brings ferocious tests. Its better to remain humble, than claim detachment prematurely.

Unless your bored... "

Could you elaborate on what you meant there? Haven't heard about "detachment" in a (western) religious/spiritual context.

This is ONE long uphill battle, part of the greater battle that won’t be won until Christ comes back quite frankly—whenever that is (could be 1000 hours from now, could be 1000 years from now!)

...But even the mere earthquake of a *solid* *uncontested* November 8th Victory would be the shake-up/wake-up call heard round the world and inspire millions across Europe and elsewhere wanting to take back THEIR countries from the ungodly and stand up for righteousness.

I believe a victory for Trump and Pence would inspire Christians to get involved in more roles.

God will protect our Nation, it was built on God, Work, good people, and He won’t let us down, Trump will win...

Those God fearing founders are gone. There aren't so many in this country now. Don't flatter yourself.

If it is within Gods will, Trump will win.

Many good Christian prayers have gone up for the sake of this country...Gods Country.

We are prepared to faithfully accept His will, but there is nothing wrong with hoping our prayers are in sync with the will of God.

Four years ago, my sister and I were talking about the election at that time. We both agreed that we had given this to God and were calmed by the decision. I then expressed to her that whatever should occur at that time my prayer would be to see the entire structure taken apart at some point in my lifetime and rebuilt using the foundation of our Founding Fathers. This has been my basic prayer for 8 years and longer. At this time, I have high expectations that God might see fit to allow this to become fruitful. Perhaps He has a plan which will truly allow non-believers to take notice that there is an Almighty God and His plan for mankind will show us MIRACLES that only He can perform.

It seems at times, He waits until the 11th hour & 59th minute before answering our prayers. God’s timing is perfect!

“In time of need” is a prepositional phrase, in the Greek eis eukairos, only used twice in the New Testament. It means “at just the right time, right now, not before you really need it, not after you really need it, but right on time.” We could use our idiom “in the nick of time.”

You might imagine Christ as a composite character of all the good people you have known, but your Bible shows Him to be so much more. Among other features of His unique personality, you find that He never hurries and He is never late. “Nick of time” is a sweet calling card like perfume left on the door handle. My Beloved was here! (My hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.)

This kindness will He fulfill at the judgement seat. Waiting for His deliverance strengthens your faith and lengthens your faith. When He crowns you that day, it will not be for the deliverance at the end of your test, but for your enduring faith during it. (They smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me!)

You long to please Him when you are young in the faith, in a way that is pleasing to yourself. Passing through trouble you begin to feel more deeply, and you can not see that you have changed. You can see that He is allowing you to please him in a profound way, that angels never know. That thing which you thought was trouble, becomes now His sweet gift. (My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.)
