Trump and the Jewish Vote

“On our issues Trump is perfect,” declares the grassroots organization Jewschoosetrump.org, calling on fellow Jews across the country to remember, a word resonant with religious and historical meaning for Jews.

It can't be true--the American Jewish community has "forgotten," or more accurately no longer chooses to remember, the existential threat to Israel, America, and Western civilization posed by Iran and the Iran Deal.  (snip)  Our children and grandchildren [will] ask us what were we thinking or were we even thinking when we ignored and denied the dangers facing us.

(snip) Are American Jewish leaders once again going to deny reality, hope for the best, engage in altruistic surrender and denial, and feel good and superior for caring first about others rather than the future of our children? This is pitiful and incredibly dangerous. Maybe a psychologist could figure out why our history has crippled our instinct for survival, but shame on us anyway.

(snip) It is an easy choice. We don't even need to scrutinize destroyed emails and hidden speeches. Hillary is for the Iran Deal--she is proud of it and expresses support for Obama's handling of Iran. Trump trashes the Iran Deal and vows to end it.  This is reason enough for us as American Jews to choose Trump.

Although Jews are a “rare” minority in America, only 2% of Americans, they are concentrated in the swing state of Florida, as well as Ohio and Pennsylvania. Because of the importance of Florida, Jews could determine the Electoral College tally if the election is as close as expected.

For a group of people who on average have a 15 point higher than average IQ they sure don’t use it

They make up 2 percent of the vote in Ohio. If they go 30/70 for clinton, that’s 1.4 for clinton and .6 for trump, or a net for clinton of .8 percent.

Florida they are 5.4 of the population. Again if they go 30/70 for hillary, that would be 3.7 for her and 1.7 for him, giving clinton 2 points.

could make a difference but i’m CERTAINLY NOT gonna blame 2 percent and 5.4 percent for us losing those states, God forbid that happens!!

It will be white women (FReeper and others excepted) who will give this to clinton should she win.

We need a YUGE male voter turnout.

I mailed in my absentee already because of fear of an ailment acting up that day.

But i will ADMIT that I’ve said in previous elections I was VERY LIKELY to vote and didn’t, cause i figured it’s NY, why bother

THIS TIME I would have crawled over glass and used a morphine drip for the pain I have to vote for him.

i’m sure many of clinton’s voters dont feel the same way.

Here is another interesting, if somewhat depressing, statistic: Asian Americans, who like Jews do much better in the areas of income and education than the American average, are overwhelmingly Democrat. This is true even among Korean and Filipino-Americans, the most Christian of the Asian ethnic groups. Asian Americans may not have the degree of impact the Jews have had historically, but they represent 5% of the electorate, vs. 2% for the Jews.

Jewish vote just doesn’t matter, except possibly in Florida. Even there, the number of unregistered and non-voting self-described ‘born again Christians’ dwarfs any Jewish vote.

What's so despicable is that the Jewish people were the first in world history to civilize mankind from barbarity with principles of morality and ethics, and here you have the majority of American Jews seemingly supporting an individual who is completely morally and ethically bankrupt, who kills and steals and lies profusely, and is furthermore antisemitic and anti-Israel,

Not only the Iran deal, but her record of support of Islamic extremists and her proposal to admit more Moslem refugees from the Middle East bode poorly for the future for both American Jewry and for Israel.

But my guess is that Trump will do well - for a Republican - among Jewish voters, maybe as high as 40% of the Jewish vote.

This is a hard fight but it is winnable.

Trump must not allow the MSM or his personal squabbles to control the narrative.

Hillary hates Jews and if Trump is disciplined - a question - he can reveal those truths.

Does his campaign have the smarts?

And after all... What is the opinion of one solitary Jewish TV station manager / business manager / bank manager / advertiser / social leader / programmer / teacher / donor / really worth...?

Trump has well over half of my synagogue’s votes...but, then again, we are both Orthodox and in South Texas. The Conservative and Reform are 70%-80% for the Wicked Witch. Don’t ask me why, the fact of Jews being for Socialism and Communism has never made sense to me.
