Nahum 3:5-6New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE)
5 I am against you,
says the Lord of hosts,
and will lift up your skirts over your face;
and I will let nations look on your nakedness
and kingdoms on your shame.
6 I will throw filth at you
and treat you with contempt,
and make you a spectacle.
Even the English is a lot more harsh.
John 8:1-11 is such a reminder of that.
Boy do we need to re-learn that!
We don’t have leaders to follow. Our “leaders” are meant to manage, not to be followeed.
Exactly.
"Though they know Gods righteous decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them." Ro 1.32
I agree with you.
Justifying sin in others does not facilitate our soul to accept it in ourselves. Denial of sin is not repentance.
