On this note, I might mention that I am a member of a site called RethinkingHell.com.
I became a “conditional immortality” (CI) adherent about six years ago.
I confess that I do have a problem with your nailing day and hour, though I understand the argument that it may be possible now.
I confess that about5-7 years ago I suddenly realized the “second coming” could be around 2018 based on “this generation shall not pass away until all these things come to pass” and the clock began when Israel became a nation in 1948, and the lifespan of humans is put at 70 years, according to scripture in multiple places.
So I at least have a sympathetic ear to what you say on your site.
Sounds to me like we would get along as good friends at a prayer meeting.

One other thing, after reading the “big picture” part of your site:
I believe that God putting Adam in the Garden and telling him not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil was akin to you or me putting a fox in the hen house and saying, “do what you want, but don’t touch the chickens.”
i.e., not only did He know what Adam would do, but it strongly implies that He put Adam there exactly so that Adam would disobey and eat of the fruit. A hint about why is in Romans 9. It is as if He NEEDED Adam to eat the forbidden fruit.
There is a lot more afoot in the creation story than mankind is privy to.
As I completed the items in your apendix, I realized you made a few predictions who’s timing makes them past events that didn’t happen. Am I missreading your site?

The third and fourth seals have not happened, but you said they started quite a few months ago.
Here are the items:
“I expect the third seal to be opened in the fall of 2015 and play out for four (4) or more months. The third seal is accompanied by food price hyperinflation.”
“I expect the fourth seal to be opened in early 2016 and play out for about twenty (20) months.”
The third seal seems to indicate hyperinflation.
The fourth seal says that a fourth of the world will be at war.
These were my expectations at the time I wrote the article (late summer/early fall of 2015). My expectations are just my expectations, nothing more. My expectations did not come to pass with the timing I thought looked possible at the time.
I am not a prophet. I am just trying to fit the pieces together.
The only timing I know with assurance is the sixth seal (The Rapture) on October 5, 2017. The other seals have to occur before then. There is still plenty of time for them to play out between now and then.
Amazing you should bring up Hal Lyndsey, I was nowhere near contemplating being a Christian, when someone gave me he book Late Great Planet. The book didnt make me closer to God or make me read the Bible, but it did make me go Hmmmm. I was amazed at the aliances that had been layed out 1000s of years ago.
His thinking is probably in the background when I look at thinks that are proposed.

I really do not give much thought to end time prophecy. As you can tell, all of earth’s history, no matter what time or area you study, has been filled with evil and brutal killings and wars. The Huns come to mind, I looked up a commentary about how evil Nineveh was in the times of Job. As bad or worse than Hitler.
So I only focus and really study those things in the Bible that I can talk to believers and non-believers about, and be on solid Biblical grounds.
You can get in bad arguements on end times and ~sigh~ baptism...sheeeeeesh.

All this stuff is taking longer that we expect, though we are clearly on the path. Have you read Bill Bonner? He’s ridiculously accurate with his world predictions, but this last cycle has taken way longer than he thought it would. We seem to all be looking less than accurate only because of the apparent ability by the “world powers” to keep kicking the can down the road.
I get where you are coming from. Out of curiosity, have you heard of a book called “The biblical flood and the Ice Epoch”? I wonder if the planet in that book (close encounter during the great flood) is the same one.

And you are right about the arguments. I used to be big into the prophesy, but I only focus on the “non-controversial” subjects. That is, things that can be soundly supported with scripture, rather than speculation about locusts with the hair of women.

So we are a lot a like...I will discuss almost any subject(not off the wall weird stuff, like were do demons come from), but I have to be standing on solid scriptural ground.
In a nutshell, the book was written in the 1960’s. I’ve talked to the author.
His hypothesis (in the 60’s) was that the great flood was caused by Venus coming into our solar system along with an ice moon. They came into close proximity of the earth. Venus and earth did a brief dance, ripping up the mountain ranges with each orbit. Meanwhile, the ice moon got close enough to the earth, reaching the roache limit, neutralizing it’s own gravitational field. It broke up and fell to earth. At the poles, it dumped a LOT of ice. Everywhere else, it was rain. Before this event, the continental shelves were part of the above water continents.
There is a LOT more to it than that, but that’s the trailer version.
And he no longer believes it was Venus. At least, he didn’t when I talked to him back in 1982.
