The Islamic State terror group has come out publicly to reject Pope Francis’ claims that the war being waged by Islamic terrorists is not religious in nature, assuring the pontiff that their sole motivation is religious and sanctioned by Allah in the Qur’an.

It’s amazing to me that Muslims are having to explain to the West what their real motivations are.
How arrogant and pompous is the West that we don’t believe what Muslims are telling us?
It’s like trying to explain the motivation of a robber TO the robber during the robbery. Especially when he has been open about why he is robbing you.
That probably the most significant religious person in the world apparently doesn’t recognize the religious dimension of the fight we are up against is astounding.....

It’s always hard to tell with Francis whether he’s naive, disillusion, or just horribly inept in his choice of words. He seems to need an army of interpreters to run interference every time he makes one of these pronouncements.

Could our politicians be 'oh so impressed with Muslims' BECASUE the ME is THE PLACE to give speeches for millions of dollars? Pope Francis isn't taking bribes (oops I mean giving speeches) but he is keenly aware he wants to be standing with the cool kids... and the cool kids and their wives feed off Arab money.
