Moscow, July 20, Interfax - Departure of Constantinople Patriarch Bartholomew from Turkey a few hours before an attempt of the coup was taken was "a pure coincidence," Metropolitan Arseny of Austria told the Kathpress Catholic agency.
According to him, the trip to Slovenia for vacations was planned two months earlier. The information that the patriarch ran from the country before the impending uprising is false, the metropolitan says, and it can be easily proved by the example of the tickets purchased a few weeks before the events.
The media earlier posted the information that Patriarch Bartholomew left Istanbul by one of the last flights before rebels captured the Ataturk Airport. It was an opinion that the patriarch was warned of the impending revolt.
According to the metropolitan, Patriarch Bartholomew will support any democratically elected government as well as democratic forces that will act according to the state laws and legislation. The patriarch is against any forms of violence, he added.
Metropolitan Arseny also said that the Constantinople patriarch learned about the coup attempt in Turkey two hours after it had happened and decided to return to Istanbul at once, but he failed as the Ataturk Airport was closed. Now he plans to shorten his stay in Slovenia.
So now they are going to attack the Church. So predictable.

So you’re saying the U.S. and Israel had no other reason to do what they did - like TERRORIST ATTACKS on Turkey???
Pretty much the Christians are gone except for very small numbers here and there in that country. If things get any worse, they will end up fleeing the remaining ones.
