The name Europe comes from an ancient Greek myth, about a princess,(Europa) who was seduced by the “god” Zeus, (Satan) . Zeus appeared to Europa in the form of a bull offering her a ride. He took her away, only to ravish her.

This is why there are recurring images of a woman riding a bull; on European money, postage stamps and statues in public places also across Europe.

The Apostle John, by the Holy Spirit saw a vision of a woman riding a beast,And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.(Revelation 17:1-5)

It is my belief that the European Union is a major part of the final phase of the Roman Empire, as seen by King Nebuchadnezzar, and interpreted by Daniel the prophet in the second chapter of Daniel;

And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise. And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters’ clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay. And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken. And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.(Daniel 2:40-43)

For the most part, Europe’s cultural, educational, religious and ruling elite have long ago lost their faith in God, perhaps as far back as in the aftermath of World War 1. The empty Cathedrals stand as testament to the faith that once was, but the houses are empty…the house has been empty.

The State Churches of former Reformation countries for the most part, have spent the last century “progressing+ from denial of the Trinity, the resurrection, the Deity of Christ, on into leftist politics, the ordination of women as “Priests” and now homosexuals.A prime example is Sweden’s top “bishop”, a lesbian woman with a :Wife: and an artificially conceived child, announcing the need to remove crosses from churches so as not to offend the new Muslim “guests”.

There can be no spiritual vacuum, something has to take the place of God, thus the leftward movement all across the West, towards larger government, “womb to tomb” care, and ultimately into the superstate. For conservatives the last 100 years have been a twilight struggle of being forced to cede position after position, to the march of those who would strip the West of everything Christian.

The opening of the gates of Europe to Muslim hordes, is not a recent development.

There has been highly organized U.N. voting bloc, the OIC ,Organization of Islamic Conference, which has parleyed it’s numbers, (57 states) and the desperation caused by the gas and oil conflicts of the early 1970s, to lobby successfully to cause France and eventually the EU to admit Muslim refugees in ever greater numbers.

Europeans agreed to admit Muslim refugees in exchange for steady flow of oil, and that Euriope herself might become a counter to the Bi-Polar powers, the USA and the USSR.

Of course European policies toward Israel would have to be altered to appease the Arabian partners, as Bat Ye’or documents in her work, “Europe,Globalization, and The Upcoming Universal Caliphate”.

Bat Ye’or listed the five objectives of the Eurabian project to a critic of her warnings,

1) To transform Europe into a Euro-Islamic continent, through the creation of a Christian-Muslim Mediterranean civilization, hence the affirmation that Islam is as much a part of Europe as Christianity. The adoption of an open-borders immigration policy favors the mixing of populations; as does the promotion of sister cities and similar Euro-Arab projects in the information and audio-visual sectors, in the universities, in the political and economic sectors relevant to youth.

2) Massive immigration into the West, imposed by the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) because it is in conformity with jihadist doctrine, yet approved by Europe that feels it will destroy the nationalisms of the Nation-States and re-enforce the power of the EU over the member States.

3) Muslim immigration is the vector of fusion of the two shores of the Mediterranean and of the extension of Europe into Asia and Africa, thus opening up new markets, bases of economic and strategic control in the context of globalization. With Islam, Europe would become richer, more powerful than America and Russia, it would control the world (the fable of the frog who wanted to be fatter than an ox). In this sense immigration is the source of power and wealth.

4) The realization of the Nazi project dear to the hearts of Hitler and Amin al-Husseini, grand mufti of Jerusalem. The Nazis wanted to destroy a Christianity rooted in Judaism and preferred Islam. This anti-Christianism was re-enforced by the Marxist vision of mixing together people liberated from religions, nationalism, and hierarchies and fraternizing in realm of the universal.

5) Seen from this angle Israel represents the Nation-State, a thorn in the side of the EU and an obstacle to the perfect harmony between Islam and a Europe that committed itself in November 1973 to construct Palestine on the ruins of the State of Israel. The tenacity of the Jewish State to exist on its national territory provoked a hidden strategic, political and media-supported war, by a Europe that had become a mercenary of international jihadism against Israel.

Europe’s leaders have opened gates which had thrice been violently closed to Muslim Hordes, in the days of the true leaders, Charles Martel and Jan Sobieski in Vienna, and those who fought at the battle of Lepanto, who saw the threat and moved decisively to resist it, thus preserving Judeo Christian culture.

The rapes at the near empty Cathedral in Cologne within days of the new arrivals, were not random in their location. In the minds of the Europeans, that empty Cathedral is a beautiful but irrelevant testimony to simpler but benighted times. In the minds of the Invaders, that Cathedral and the women they ravished in the face of it, represents the “defeated” God of Europe and the poor women represent Europe herself.

It is obvious that the deals that the post Christian leaders of France, Belgium, Germany and eventually all of the EU made with Arabs may have bought a dependable supply of gas and oil, but at what price?

At what price? Only their souls!

Pastor Bill: I always read your articles carefully...and you are right again.

We evangelical Christians sit on the edge of a precipice...staring into the abyss. And it does stare back.

We can take solace in that the Lord is also staring into the abyss. And in His case, the abyss trembles and turns away from His stare.

I have had many sleepless nights worrying about this coming event.

Wasted sleep on my part. The Lord is in control.

Be of good cheer. The Lord is near.

Of this He has assured us.

Europe is getting what they wish on Israel .
Her leaders are drunk on the oil ad when Turkey totally opens the flood gates they are done .

We are following right behind them them though because really the church in America for the most part refuses to repent and cry out to God.

It is hard to watch but look up because he is coming soon.

Our leaders are making the same deal, from both sides of the isle. And we have no voice, except to God. And we must raise it high. And we must get on our knees. And we must fast, and pray without ceasing. Because it is true we do not battle with flesh and blood, and the demons are ruling our leaders and the leaders of the world.

You who dwell in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shade of the Almighty, Say to the Lord , “My refuge and fortress, my God in whom I trust.” He will rescue you from the fowler’s snare, from the destroying plague, He will shelter you with his pinions, and under his wings you may take refuge; his faithfulness is a protecting shield. You shall not fear the terror of the night nor the arrow that flies by day, Nor the pestilence that roams in darkness, nor the plague that ravages at noon. Though a thousand fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, near you it shall not come. You need simply watch; the punishment of the wicked you will see. Because you have the Lord for your refuge and have made the Most High your stronghold, No evil shall befall you, no affliction come near your tent. For he commands his angels with regard to you, to guard you wherever you go. With their hands they shall support you, lest you strike your foot against a stone. You can tread upon the asp and the viper, trample the lion and the dragon. Because he clings to me I will deliver him; because he knows my name I will set him on high. He will call upon me and I will answer; I will be with him in distress; I will deliver him and give him honor. With length of days I will satisfy him, and fill him with my saving power.

Bill,
Enjoyed the insights.
One more that I wish to add. With regard to Europe’s present status of apostasy, it took centuries of influence from Augustine to get them to where they are. The same thing is developing right now, but rapidly, in the US with destructive amillenialism/new-Calvism, and the contemporary church.
Naturally, amillenialism goes hand-in-hand with the liberal view of making the world better and better without the literal presence of Christ on earth. It’s quite fair to consider the Lord as addressing Reformation theology, Calvinism, Lutheranism, etc. with His rebuke to Sardis:
“I know your deeds, that — YOU HAVE A NAME that you are alive —, but you are dead.”
What can be said of this school of interpretation when the Presbyterians, et.al totally mangle—allegorize — undermine — and side-step the message of Revelation.
But why aren’t dispensationalists more upset about this? If one undermines Revelation, why not the Book of Jonah? Why not that of Daniel? Why not the Creation account? Why not Noah’s flood?
And yet it’s just “let’s just let bygones be bygones. It’s not worth dividing the Body of Christ over this, etc.”
