In an address to 50 Nigerian bishops, the president of the Pontifical Council for the Family said recently that Pope Franciss new apostolic exhortation on love in the family calls for a new style of ministry to families without changing doctrine.
It is clear that a new ecclesial style is being called for, and this new style requires an understanding of the variety of situations that must be dealt with, said Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia.
The Pope is not calling for new abstract doctrine or new legal rules, he added. In the exhortation, he recalls that while during the synods there was a variety of contributions from the participants, that variety has produced a many facet gem.

I prefer the old style, with less communism.
The Mass has changed a bit in form and that's all right since it's not doctrine as to how it is presented.
I'm old and had the old Missals to prove it. The readings are the same, however, as the Words of Jesus ARE unchangeable. I still use the newer Missal with the Latin on the left side of the page and the English on the right. Comforting to me. Sometimes I say the Latin out loud: Agnus Dei, for example.
