This will be chanted tonight across the Orthodox World. I expect all Orthodox Christians will agree that tonight's service is the most emotionally gut wrenching of the year. These chants are the lamentations of the Most Holy Theotokos at the crucifixion, death and entombment of her Son. Imagine what it must have been like for her!
