The Vatican reporter Giuseppe Rusconi notes that bitterness and anger besides being directed at Catholic politicians are also aimed at another target: the Secretary General of the Italian Bishops Conference, Bishop Nunzio Galantino (Rossoporpora February 26th), top exponent of the reaching-out Church that instead of open and even hard discussion, particularly on issues regarding the family and life, prefers an all out imprecise dialogue with the power that is developed in corridors and friendly encounters. In addition, not a word has been heard from the one who occupies the office as Bishop of Rome and is Primate of Italy.

O Lord, Thy will be done.
I know where I stand.
I hope the Lord believes the same.
I do not like this at all!

You should know that Christian Socialist or Christian anything in European governments means nothing Catholic or Christian. Italy is corrupt - it always has been and always will be.

nothing has been heard... from the bishop of Rome ..?
I Beg to differ- the pope and his minions have been
speaking loud and clear -with their delicate baby steps
of embracing the secular world-
(and todays secular world in-turn, embraces every sin
imaginable)

Meanwhile, islam is invading everywhere and they just give muzzys more money to complete the islamic takeover of nations. It’s like sticking a few fingers in the dikes while the whole dam is crumbling around them.

I have come to believe that, with some exceptions, the Catholic bishops do not care at all about Christ’s teachings.

It may be too late in America, but perhaps it’s time for an explicitly Christian Federal government, with a Constitutional Amendment stating that.
