In an interview that aired Tuesday on Canadian Catholic television, Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) tried to steal a little luster from Pope Francis, saying he thinks the Pope is a socialist who believes, like him, that wealth is not "an end in itself."
During the interview, Father Thomas Rosica, the Canadian priest from the Salt and Light Catholic television network who hosted the interview, asked Sanders whether he thought Francis is a socialist, to which Sanders said "yes."

In an August 8, 1985 interview on a Vermont government-access television station, Sanders discussed his recent trip to Nicaragua and drew parallels between the Castro and Ortega regimes. "In 1961," he said, "[America] invaded Cuba, and everybody was totally convinced that Castro was the worst guy in the world, that all the Cuban people were going to rise up in rebellion against Fidel Castro. They forgot that he educated the kids, gave them health care, totally transformed the society. You know, not to say Fidel Castro and Cuba are perfect -- they are certainly not -- but just because Ronald Reagan dislikes these people does not mean to say that the people in their own nations feel the same way. So they expected this tremendous uprising in Cuba; it never came. And if they are expecting a tremendous uprising in Nicaragua, they are very, very, very mistaken."
Sanders also stated that he "was impressed" with Nicaragua's Foreign Minister Miguel d'Escoto Brockmann, a Catholic priest whom Pope John Paul II had barred from celebrating Mass because Brockmann had defied a church rule forbidding priests from holding government jobs. "If this guy is the foreign minister of a 'terrorist nation,' then they should get another foreign minister, because he is a very gentle, very loving man," said Sanders. Moreover, Sanders characterized Daniel Ortega as "an impressive guy" while criticizing then U.S. President Ronald Reagan.
A stopped clock is right twice a day.
This one should be interesting.
I have to agree with Bernie on that one.
Lord, have Mercy!
Doesn’t surprise me at all. The Marxist ideology of the Pope has been evident for quite some time.

Birds of a feather.....
If the shoe fits, ...
Bernie is worth two million. When is he going to spread that around?
Sanders is right.
The real Pope was deposed so this pretender could be installed.
As much as I despise this POS socialist, he is damn honest.
If the shoe fits....

And the Pope resides in a palatial compound surrounded by artwork and artifacts probably valued in the trillions. Not to mention the Vatican’s bank accounts, investments, and real estate holdings.
I agree thati Bergoglio is a socialist, but one word of caution applies here:
Fr. Rosica was one of the main voices trying to push the sodomite agenda on the Vatican Synod on the Family last October, through twisting what actually happened into something else being fed to the media. He is a thoroughly disgusing piece of work. Anything he does should be automatically suspect.
Both are Communist frauds
