A whole lot of everything sails right by.
Regardless, this fellow is parroting the usual "interpetations" of Daniel et al that are but extrapolation upon extrapolation upon extrapolation of erroneous assumptions. Thus they know nothing else except to tenaciously hold to certain doctrines, as they don't do their own homework. If they did they wouldn't all sound alike within their respective prophecy camps (450 here, 400 there...).

Now the census through the half-shekel (Ex 30) was taken of those aged twenty on up, and was for the atonement of souls. Why through the money, not by a direct head count. It was via *their wages* (see Pirkei Avot 5:22)... their livelihoods, that is to say, the works of their hands and orientation of their minds - the outward manifestation of the intents of their hearts.

Spica, from the Latin spÄ«ca virginis, “Virgo’s ear of grain,†has a history in Hermetic circles. In his Three Books of Occult Philosophy, Cornelius Agrippa connected Spica with Hermes Trismegistus. He also described a talisman with the image of a bird and a man carrying goods, which, according to Agrippa, “…conferreth riches, and maketh one overcome contentions, it taketh away scarcity and mischief.â€
