In the course of my life he broke my strength; he cut short my days. So I said: "Do not take me away, my God, in the midst of my days; your years go on through all generations. In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end." (Psalm 102:23-27)

Father in heaven, we acknowledge You, the only God, and Jesus Christ, Your only Son.

Lord, we pray that You will always watch over our troops, in all things and at all times. We pray also that You will be gracious to our nation as the primary elections continue, and give us a good president.

O God, before anything else was, You are, and Your years go on through all generations. In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands. They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them, planets and starry hosts, and they will be discarded. But You remain the same, and Your years will never end. Have compassion, Lord, on us and our weakness, and be gracious to us. Forgive us when we sin against You, and give us the chance and the heart to try again, for Jesus Christ has died for us and risen again, and we pray to You in His Name, Amen.
