Anything remotely critical of the homosexual lifestyle and orientation is now officially designated a "slur". And no, Senator, "Wally" is not married, whatever you say.

How quaint. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton didn’t give a sh!t about a Gay Ambassador in Benghazi, but it bristles at ‘slurs’ of one of its others? Hypocrite much?

As if anyone with above room temp IQ respects the collection of marshmallow majors currently infesting the joke called the State Department.

I get a chuckle out of this situation every time it’s mentioned. And you’re right, it’s not a “slur”: it’s good, old-fashioned raillery.

The Dominican Republic does NOT recognize gay “marriage”.
The Obama administration purposely appointed “Wally” for the purpose of irritating the people of the Dominican Republic. It is diplomatic warfare.
The Cardinal is entirely correct to attack both the person and the appointment. My president is a major embarrassment.

Homosexuals had to "Earn their REPROBATE MIND" by
refusing God ~ not once, ~ not twice, ~ but THREE times!
I suggest
not only reading, BUT STUDYING this link. I especially agree with its last paragraph.
" The Church NEVER can and NEVER will give satisfactionand the homosexualist knows it,
for he knows the words against him are INERADICABLE
to the declared and impenitent homosexual, the person who, through an act of the vermiculate will, has identified his person with a sin, whether HE DEMANDS ACCEPTANCE OF HIS SINthrough "love,"
or VINDICATIONTHROUGH IDENTIFICATION OF HIS PERCEIVED ENEMIES AS BIGOTS.
Whether HE PRESENTS HIMSELF as an object of love or indignation, what HE DEMANDS in either case IS ACCEPTANCEnot of the person, but OF THE SIN-bound and SIN-DEFINED person.
HE DEMANDS the declaration of SPIRITUAL AUTHORITY thatTHERE IS NOTHING OBJECTIVELY DISORDERED about this BINDING OF MAN TO SIN,and ASSURANCE that THIS MONSTROUS AMALGAM can indeed ENTER the kingdom of heaven.
This can NEVER HAPPEN among Christians UNTIL THEY ABANDON Christianity,WHICH IS AT WAR WITH EVERY SIN,and whose indelible constitutionplaces ALL PERVERSIONS of the perfect manAT THE MUZZLE of its canons. "
There will be NO HOMOSEXUALS ( NOT ONE ) in the afterlife.
They WILL BE
ASHES UNDER the soles of your feet ! ! !

Kudos to Cardinal Rodriguez. The soetoro regime is using the state dept and homosexual ambassadors to blackmail countries into changing their positions on homosexuals. Toe the line or no more foreign aid.

So the diplomatic efforts of the State Department have been reduced to defending one of their Ambassadors? What a waste.

I’m actually caught in the middle on this one. The Catechism of the Catholic Church number 2358 states in part about the person of the homosexual orientation: “They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity.”
I think a better translation of “accepted” would be “treated”. “accepted” connotes a kind of or almost acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle. But I’ve always interpreted the section of the Catechism I quoted as meaning we shouldn’t call people of the homosexual orientation names (”faggot” “sodomite”). The Truth can be defended without the sins of uncharitableness or name calling.
But on the other hand, this Cardinal has a militancy, a willingness to engage the enemy, a backbone that is sorely missing among much of the episcopate.
By calling the homosexual person a name (”faggot” “sodomite”), do we close or harden his or her heart against Graces of repentance and conversion the Spirit is constantly offering them? On the other hand, if we treat them in a respectful way by not calling them names, without denying the disordered, objectively grave sinfulness of their acts, do we help open them to Graces of repentance and conversion? To the homosexual person we need to display “compassion” but not false compassion.
“This is how all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” - John 13:35
