BERUIT (Christian Examiner) - The leader of Maronite Catholics in Lebanon has said if the multiple wars in the Middle East do not stop, the region will be emptied of its Christians and Europe will eventually fall to Islam.
Cardinal Bechara Boutros Rai, who leads the eastern Catholics still aligned with Rome, said in a recent interview with an Italian Catholic news magazine, Famiglia Christiana or Christian Family, the recent waves of immigration into Europe are only the beginning of Islam's expansion into the continent.
Islam will eventually win the territory, he said, for two reasons.
"I have heard many times from Muslims that their goal is to conquer Europe with two weapons: faith and the birth rate," Rai told the magazine.
Christians, he said, are not as committed to their faith as Muslims who are taught every word of Koran and who place great emphasis on the practice of it.
"For them the practice of the faith is essential and fundamental. In Saudi Arabia on Friday, they go to prayer even if they have to use a walking stick. They know the Koran by heart and recite it often. The same is not true for Christians who do not look to the Bible or the teachings of the church."
Second, he said, is that Muslims believe in procreation as a means of expanding the faith - unlike "Christian Europe" and other Christian communities where birthrates have been in decline for decades.
"They [Muslims] believe it is God's will to procreate and that marriage is aimed at this. In the same way, you see that we hardly get married and do not make a lot of children," Rai said. "If they are many, they think they can impose on us."

I do believe WE ALL are aware of the Muslim two step. It’s what to do about it that is the question.
The answer is really very simple, but rather harsh.
Duh of the day alert.
It isn't about commitment to Christian faith. Christianity teaches forgiveness, and sanctity of life, and turning the other cheek, and being truthful. Islam doesn't have these restrictions, as long as ones actions are thought likely to propagate Islam. Islam is an ‘ends justifies the means’ political system. Christianity fundamentally is not. Christ did not seek to raise armies or make war.
Ultimately, Islam will not prevail. The only question is how much suffering radical Islamists will cause before they take their reserved place in the scrapheap of history.
This sounds simplistic, but we need to pray for deep conviction to come upon these Muslims as they are probably going to meet many more Christians than they were ever exposed to where they came from. That would be tremendous if a great move of God could reach these Muslims.
It is Biblically said “the earth belongs to those who inherit it”. Christian women and men simply do not want many children anymore. Liberalism has poisoned the Church. Building, supporting, and encouraging families is simply no longer emphasized. My mother was recently telling me about a new Christian pregnancy support center near her Methodist Church, and was going to encourage people at church to spread the word about it during Service morning announcements, and was told by a member she probably shouldn’t mention I since many members are pro choice.

Actually the answer is very difficult but gentle. We need deeper faith in Jesus, and repentence for this recent past of abortion and selfishness, sin.
THEN He will stop permitting the enemy to purify us and we will be able to expand and return to the promised land.
No bomb dropping needed, just catechesis and evangelization of our own. The islamists will follow after they witness our own.
