Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it, And say unto it, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against thee, and I will stretch out mine hand against thee, and I will make thee most desolate. I will lay thy cities waste, and thou shalt be desolate, and thou shalt know that I am the Lord. (Ezekiel 35:1-4)

The 34-39th chapters of Ezekiel are a prophecy about the final and complete restoration of Israel. The Prophet first addresses the Shepherds of Israel, who have misled the nation into the pit (Exile,judgment,the curse) that it has long languished in.The Good Shepherd of the flock of Israel will come personally and regather the sheep which have long been scattered and subject to numerous miseries.

In this chapter the Prophet addresses those who vigorously assert their erroneous claim to the land God gave to the seed of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob.

The address is to Mount Seir. Mt Seir is in what is now Southern Jordan, and was the area God gave to the descendants of Edom, or Esau.

Esau is Jacob’s twin. He was the firstborn, thus humanly speaking had the right of double inheritance from Isaac his Father. Isaac tried to pass on the Abrahamic blessing to Esau, but Rebecca and Jacob intervened and tricked Isaac into giving the blessing to Jacob,

Never does the Word of God condemn Rebecca or Jacob for that act of deception. Only Esau and his uncle Laban condemn them. Rebeccah was acting to preserve the promise of the seed, in accordance with the original prophecy given her when the two twins were in her womb,

The Lord said to her, “Two nations are in your womb, and two peoples from within you will be separated; one people will be stronger than the other, and the older will serve the younger.”(Genesis 25:23)

Isaac himself acknowledged to Esau that the blessing was properly placed, in spite of the deception involved, when he told the tearful Esau that he had blessed Jacob and assured him that indeed his brother would be blessed.

And Isaac trembled very exceedingly, and said, Who? where is he that hath taken venison, and brought it me, and I have eaten of all before thou camest, and have blessed him? yea, and he shall be blessed.(Genesis 27:33)

Esau went on to become a mighty nation, a perennial enemy of Jacob, and eventually the nation was subdued, forcibly converted to Judaism ( The Herods were Edomites), but sometime after the destruction of the Jewish Temple, the Edomites as a nation dissolved into the various Middle Eastern Roman Provinces.

But the Edomites are end time players.They re-emerge and play a prominent role in the horrors of the tribulation. Who would modern these Edomites Be?

The Word of God identifies them clearly. Modern Edomites are those people who have abrogated to themselves the land God assigned to the children of Israel.They identify themselves as “Palestinians” and have the full backing of the ‘world community”in their quest for a “Palestinian homeland”.

The modern, near eastern Arab Muslim world has claimed an entirely new identity, they are now (as of 1965) “Palestinians”, a name put upon Judea as a humiliation by the Romans after the Bar Cochba revolt. Provincia,Syria,Palestina, so named for the long dead and defeated enemies of Israel, the Philistines.

The prophecy is against these spiritual sons of Esau, for several reasons;

They have nurtured in their hearts something called “the everlasting hatred”, against Jacob. Esau hated Jacob and threatened to kill his twin , after Jacob received the patriarchal blessing instead of his elder brother.

Because thou hast had a perpetual hatred, and hast shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end: Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will prepare thee unto blood, and blood shall pursue thee: sith thou hast not hated blood, even blood shall pursue thee. ( Ezekiel 35:5-6)

The religion of Islam has taken upon himself the custodianship of the hatred of Esau and Ishmael, encoding it into the very fabric of the false religion.The Koran and Hadiths tell us that “The last day cannot come for Muslims until the Muslims kill all of the JEws. In that dray if there is a Jew hiding behind a rock or a tree, the Rocks and trees will expose the hiding Jew to the Muslim persecutors.

The Edomites helped the Romans hunt out Jews hiding in the days of the destruction of the Second temple, and so also did the grand Mufti of Jerusalem incite the Arab residents of “Palestine” to aide Hitler, and to pressure the British to bar Jews from escaping the Holocaust into the Holy Land. Recently Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the State of Palestine,(and planner of the 1972 mass murder of the Olympic team of Israel) announced to the mobs of “Palestinian” knife murderers that he incited, “We bless and welcome every single drop of blood shed in Jerusalem…” . As the Prophet said, “They have not hated Blood…”. Because thou hast said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the Lord was there: Therefore, as I live, saith the Lord God, I will even do according to thine anger, and according to thine envy which thou hast used out of thy hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged thee. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.(Ezekiel 35:9-11) The Arabs who claim to be Palestinians lay fall historical claim to the Holy Land, and are foisting upon the world a revisionist history which denies any Jewish claim on Jerusalem or Judea at all! The Palestinians lay spurious claim to two nations, Judea (The West Bank) and Israel. These are the two nations which originally were one, Israel, and indwell the promised Land, which God have by unconditional covenant to Abraham,Isaac and Jacob. Every Friday from the Temple Mount Mosque complex, hateful and abusive rants pour out into the streets of the city of Jerusalem, inciting violence, lying about the God of Israel, the Jews, and Christians. God has heard these rantings and takes them seriously. And thou shalt know that I am the Lord, and that I have heard all thy blasphemies which thou hast spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume. Thus with your mouth ye have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.(Ezekiel 35:12-13) Another thing God holds against the Palestinians and their supporters, is that they rejoice over the shedding of innocent blood. Who hasn’t been appalled at the open celebration in the Palestinian towns of the Holy Land; dancing and passing out candies and sweets when Jews are slaughtered in cold blood, or on the news of the mass nuder that was 9-11.

This people tell their frustrated young men, that acts of mass murder will afford them an eternity of rape of celestial virgins, they also teach toddlers that Jews are the”sons of monkeys and pigs” on their western subsidized public children’s programming.What is going to happen to them?*

Thus saith the Lord God; When the whole earth rejoiceth, I will make thee desolate. As thou didst rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto thee: thou shalt be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the Lord.(Ezekiel 35:14-15) *(Of course there is always the option of repentance and faith in Jesus, something that is actually occurring among thousands of Muslims).

But you, Israel, are My servant, Jacob whom I have chosen, the seed of Abraham, My friend; whom I have taken from the ends of the earth, and called you from its sides. And I said to you, You are My servant; I have chosen you, and not cast you away. Do not fear; for I am with you; be not dismayed; for I am your God. I will make you strong; yes, I will help you; yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness. Behold, all those who were angered against you shall be ashamed and confounded; they shall be as nothing. And those who fight with you shall perish. (Isaiah 41:8-11)

There is a satanic evil in the mentality of the muslims who delight in such evil.

And yet, I keep hearing of reports of many muslims coming to Christ.

It’s always a miracle when someone does, but it’s even more miraculous when the Holy Spirit can break through that level of deception and touch a muslim’s heart.

A Palestinian rep in the Knesset recently lectured the
“Jews” on how King David actually paid a “goyim” for
a threshing floor (on which God instructed Solomon later to
build the temple of the Lord)- THE TEMPLE MOUNT. The guy
flat chewed the “Jews” out for taking something which does
not belong to them - when King David paid for the land he
got from the Gentile (the threshing floor which IS the
Temple Mount).

Of course, the Pali thought he was being cute; but before it
was over he was smacking his forehead and saying “DOH”, much
like Homer Simpson when he louses up.
