They had the three hour service from the Central Synagogue from NYC.on television.The service was interesting. Three hrs- that’s real atonement.

Make sure it is an organic apple and raw honey. The pesticides are something else on apples. I’m going to try the honey on an apple . . .my usual is dark chocolate/peanut butter.
Also this article is very interesting about the shofar. I didn’t know about the various tone lengths and after reading the article gave a try on my shofar.

Orthodox synagogues around here generally start RH services at 8 a.m., and they go until 2-3:00 p.m. or even later. No microphones, no cameras—not allowed to use stuff like that on the holiday.
