I was recently chatting with a half dozen folks who are upset with the direction of the Church and this Pope in particular and the consensus of opinion among them was that the Orthodox Church is headed toward restoring traditional teaching while the Latin Church is going in the opposite direction. For whatever reason, it seems some folks prefer the possibility of moving to the Orthodox Church under worsening conditions to fighting further or going any other direction.
As far as they're already showing they're a false Church those I was talking with didn't think that was the case so it appears that the Orthodox Church is an increasingly attractive option for some folks. Could be it's only a local thing, I don't really know.
One thing for sure, there are a lot of people who don't seem too interested in being part of the solution, they'd rather find an alternative, anything not Protestant apparently.
OK, I understand what you were saying now and I, too, have seen Catholics jump ship to the schismatic Orthodox.
