Just prayers for Dad's eternal soul, and for peace and comfort for my Mom, Ann, my brother, Jim IV, and myself and our families. Dad was a Goldwater Republican, and love Nixon and Ronald Reagan. He detested LBJ and Obama. He was a lurker on FreeRepublic and would love to have his own thread. Now he has it. Thanks FReepers!

My father and I had a very deep belief in the hereafter and shortly before he passed we smiled at each other and simply said, See ya later, see ya later.
Granted, I still miss him terribly, but it is the faith that I know I’ll be at the same station saying the same to my boys.
