I think the best response to this secular hooey is to radically reinterpret what they have said to mean something very different and objectionable. For example:

“He calls for every member of the diocese to “have a greater awareness of environmental and ecological issues” and to raise awareness amongst others through writing, ecumenical initiatives and evangelisation teams.

This could be reinterpreted as him saying: “It is the duty of Catholics to drive the Muslims from their midst, to help save the environment and protect the ecology from their pollution.”

And “Catholics must raise awareness by writing of their opposition to Islam, make political initiatives against Islam, and evangelisation of Muslims to leave their pagan faith and become Christians.”

Just imagine how this bishop would gag on his tea and crumpets after reading that.
