A Catholic priest who participated in Mays closed-door meeting with the aim of urging pastoral innovations at the upcoming synod on the family in October suggested that acts the Church considers intrinsically evil contraception and homosexual activity cannot be considered so, given the individuals experience.

He can push till hell freezes over, not happening. But it would be nice if his bishop would take away all his priestly duties.
Or burn his effigy at the stake as they used to do to counter heretics.
“Or burn his effigy at the stake as they used to do to counter heretics”
I second the motion.
Just cause this ‘priest’ wants to make sin ‘acceptable’ to the Church, it ain’t gonna happen.
I have to ask:
What has this Priest done that he wants ‘sins’ acceptable (I’m thinking he’s done something really bad)
Like nobody ever had "lived experiences" previous to, say, 1968... It's not a new thing. Check the Book of Judges: "Every man did what was right in his own eyes."
I call this the "sensus infidelium".
This priest is pushing the ‘conscience as King’ argument. The same crap that said Hitler may not really have sinned, if HE didn’t think he was doing anything wrong by directing the killing of all those people during WWII.
It will if Pope Francis gets his way in this upcoming Sin Nod.
Some enterprising person should go and interview all the little boys in this priest’s parish.
This priest is a Jesuit; not unlike Francis.
Heresy. This man is a blatant Modernist. He promotes the "synthesis of all heresies", condemned by Pope St. Pius X. Who is he to dare to contradict that saintly Pope?

St. Pius X:
23. A wider field for comment is opened when you come to treat of the vagaries devised by the Modernist school concerning the Church. You must start with the supposition that the Church has its birth in a double need, the need of the individual believer, especially if he has had some original and special experience, to communicate his faith to others, and the need of the mass, when the faith has become common to many, to form itself into a society and to guard, increase, and propagate the common good. What, then, is the Church? It is the product of the collective conscience, that is to say of the society of individual consciences which by virtue of the principle of vital permanence, all depend on one first believer, who for Catholics is Christ...

Those who promote heresy should be exposed and denied financial support. Faithful Catholics need to wake up and cancel their financial contributions to heresy-pushers at all levels (Peter's Pence included).
