The governing body of the Russian Orthodox Church has rejected a draft document that is scheduled to be discussed at the 2016 Pan-Orthodox Council.
The document, entitled The Orthodox Churchs Contribution to the Triumph of Peace, Justice, Freedom, Brotherhood and Love among Nations and to the Elimination of Racial and Other Forms of Discrimination, was deemed unacceptable in its current form by the Holy Synod of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The governing body recommended the approval of another draft conciliar document, entitled The Importance of Fasting and Its Observance Today, and also recommended the adoption of changes to the document proposed by the governing bodys biblical-theological commission.

My biblical theology commission comes in a black leather binding!
So does that of millions of other Protestants. Which goes a long way towards explaining the old adage... “give ten Protestants a biblical verse and get 12 interpretations.”
give ten Protestants a biblical verse and get 12 interpretations.
The hirelings if Catholic or Protestant don`t care about nothing but filling their purse or building themselves up with great pride and authority.
So I think us little humble people who read our own Bible is just as safe in the arms of our lord as the great religious ones.
