Ugh. I wish this Pope would take a vow of silence.

If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge? We shouldn’t marginalise people for this. They must be integrated into society. Pope Francis

Maybe I am missing something but I am not seeing where he said that about gays. And I am not a big fan of this pope.

Pope is putting a new face on the idea of his fallibility. He has undergone trans-spiritual reassignment by the Lord of the flies.

Full quote, for context:

"When I meet a gay person, I have to distinguish between their being gay and being part of a lobby. If they accept the Lord and have goodwill, who am I to judge them? They shouldn't be marginalized. The tendency [i.e., same-sex attraction] is not the problem ... they're our brothers."

In other words, is this gay person I'm talking to a gay activist or someone who is going around actively advocating the gay lifestyle, or is he simply someone afflicted with same-sex attraction? To have same-sex attraction is not a sin; only acting on it and promoting it. A homosexual can be a Christian (just like anyone else beset with a sinful tendency), but he can't act upon his sinful urges (just like the rest of us). If he cannot overcome his homosexual tendencies he's called to be chaste.

Ok... I need a Catholic to explain something to me. How can the Pope be Christ’s Vicar on Earth when the message he is proclaiming is so vastly different than other popes? After all, God’s Word doesn’t change....

Malachi 3:6 “For I am the Lord, I change not;”

James 1:17 “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”

Psalm 33:11 “The counsel of the Lord standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.”

Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand for ever.”

Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.”

Psalm 102:27 “But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.”

God heard about this and, concerned, sent an Angel to investigate.
The Angel returned and said, “Yes, that’s what he said. Lot and his story must have slipped his mind.”
“In fact,” continued the Angel, “My further investigations show that about 95% of the people are bad while only about 5% are acceptable in Your sight.

So He decided to send e-mails to the 5% encouraging them.

Pope Francis prayed for guidance and Pat Robertson showed up in Vatican City knocking on his door.

Pat was ushered in, presented to His Holiness and said,

“So what’s up with these miracle e-mails I’m hearing about?”

And Francis replied, “Oh. So you didn’t get one either ... “.

They are not, for the most part, searching for the Lord.

They are looking to stick a fork in his eye.

He is the anti-pope. It is why the Catholic Canon exists-—so irrational popes who promote child abuse and demonic ethics and intrinsic disorders can’t just change doctrine at a whim.

But, it sure looks like all the NWO people are at the helm now EVERYWHERE!!!! to force Fichte’s Dream of “destroying Free Will” in all the little children-—hyper-sexualize them and focus them on sex acts at age 4 and 5 is their goal-—to normalize the vile, slavish behaviors (nihilism) and remove Reason and God (Truth) and force such an irrational Reality (Marx’s) where there is no biological connections, and Vice is Virtue, and Slavery is Freedom, the State is god and dictates “Good and Evil” (and it is Afghani Ethics) and all the kiddies will just grow up to be like the obamaphone lady——”happy slaves” of the State, just dumb with no possibility of Common Sense.

We are living in an Alice in Wonderland World. Get your children OUT of the hole.

To All Posters
Want to thank you for your comments. Needless to say I was shocked when I read Pope Francis comments about Gays.

As the old saying goes “God created Adam and Eve, NOT Adam and Steve.” To me Evil is Evil and Good is Good and I can’t embrace EVIL.

Some of this Pope’s pronouncements may seem inexplicable on its surface, but there may be a method to his madness. I believe he realizes Christianity is under direct attack in the Western world, and he is attempting to soften the Catholic church’s teaching or at least put them in a less hostile perspective towards homosexuality so as not to allow attacks against the church for some ostensible ‘hate crimes’ in the future. He is also pushing communion with the Orthodox church seeking strength in numbers. There is already a push by some on the radical left to remove the Church’s tax exemptions, and it won’t stop there.

someone needs to introduce the pope to google images then search for ‘folsom street fair’ with the adult filter off.

then tell us again how that’s perfectly ok and aligned with the intentions of Jesus

Hey Pope, it's the job of Church leaders and all Christians to tell people
they're wrong. You know, so they don't go to hell?

Taking the middle road sends people to hell. How will your glorious untarnished perfect
ego explain that to GOD?

“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”

The Pope needs to bone up on his Bible.

I Corinthians 5: “You must not associate with anyone who claims to be a brother or sister but is sexually immoral or greedy, an idolater or slanderer, a drunkard or swindler. Do not even eat with such people. What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. Expel the wicked person from among you.”

[[If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?]]

If they aren’t willing to give up their abomination, then they aren’t really searching now, are they Mr Pope? God COMMANDS you to judge- Heck, He even tells you what to look for when judging- Have you not read your bible?

Except for the “Who am I to say” bit, he sounds like Jesus did when He discussed hanging with sinners instead of the already good - wonder why so many denounce this Pope....

So do they then repent this sin and change to non-sinners? No! Christ welcomed all, but they confessed, stopped sinning and were forgiven. This kind of NeoChristianity allows and supports sinners who continue to sin with the BLESSINGS of the church. What then is the need for the church? I see the need for God in my life, but no need for a church.
