“No, not all Protestants do that.”

Yes, they do - maybe not as bad as Osteen, but all do in their own Protestant way.

“Where in the world did you find that idea?”

All over - from the mouths of Protestants, posts here at Fr, Protestant books. The mistake you’re making apparently is that you think touchy-feely only applies to Osteen’s saccharine gospel is an absolute outside of every other Protestant sect. It isn’t. It’s more or less just one end of a Protestant spectrum of touchy-feely subjectivism.

“That is not what the Bible teaches.”

It sure isn’t - but it is what Protestantism teaches.

Well, since you did not get the part about me allegedly calling my fellow *Protestants to the rescue*, then it reinforces my conclusion that you were wrong about ALL Prots preaching a touchy-feely gospel.

The gospel I hear preached is repent and believe, and die to self and live to Christ.

You may consider that gospel heretical, or a false gospel, but to claim that it’s a *touchy feely* gospel is incorrect and you have been shown why.

So you are wrong and those are the reasons.

It’s a Biblical Gospel. The Papist’s ma nmade Gospel is in error.

Any group that elects a raging Socialist as head of the group is rotten to the core

Hmmm could this have been staged as a way to cover that Joel wasn’t going to say anything about the USSC ruling on same sex marriage?

“So you are wrong and those are the reasons.”

No, I’m not wrong and you presented no real reasons to believe otherwise. Have a good night.

“It’s a Biblical Gospel.”

No, it is not. There’s a reason why Alistair McGrath (who is Protestant) talked about the novum (the novelty) of Luther’s version of salvation.

“The Papist’s ma nmade Gospel is in error.”

Catholics don’t have a man-made gospel.

“Any group that elects a raging Socialist as head of the group is rotten to the core”

Well, Jesus chose Judas - and the gospel remained the same anyway. Peter could be a poor example and the gospel stayed the same.

Nobody can force you to believe the truth.

At least others will have the opportunity to see and know which is why we present it here.

Judas wasn’t the Pope.

Nor was Peter. But Peter did come around.

So your claim that ALL *Protestants* preach a touchy feely gospel has been effectively debunked.

If their definition of a touchy feely gospel, means those who have assurance of salvation, then I believe in THAT touchy feely gospel. I don't believe in Osteen's touchy feely gospel. OSAS is a beautiful thing. I feel sorry for those who don't have that peace. 😇

“Nobody can force you to believe the truth.

I already know the truth. Wish you did. Pray that you will.

“At least others will have the opportunity to see and know which is why we present it here.”

I don’t think that is why you do what you do.

Nope. I’ll bet it is easy to find though.

“Judas wasn’t the Pope.”

And Pope Francis won’t be pope forever. And?

“Nor was Peter.”

Oh, yes, he was pope.

“But Peter did come around.”

Pope Francis might correct his poor decisions. He might not. He will die and be replaced in a short time. No pope lasts. The Church always does.

Re: “Actually, yes it is.”

You think it is our decision to tell another church how to run its own services?

I am not a Joel Olsteen fan, but this type of disruptive behavior in someone else’s worship service is not Christ-like.

If you look them up, you’ll see that they sound like a cult.

So YOU have checked; eh?

Could you post the link for me?
