That testing doesn’t PROVE the child has Down’s.
It just indicates it MIGHT.
And there’s are false positives and there’s only a 1 in 80 chance that the positive indicates a real issue with the baby.
I refused it flat out because it was notoriously unreliable and it didn’t matter anyway.
Abortion was NEVER an option for us. Our children are God’s and we knew that from Day 1.
We didn’t care anyhow since we wouldn’t have aborted regardless
But they sure push it
We talk care of my 88 year old mildly retarded from birth aunt
Lucky her she was born in 1926 before all this screening and Roe.
I wonder what % cull when they know
Abortion was NEVER an option for us. Our children are Gods and we knew that from Day 1.
You remind me of Mrs. Diamond. Our Maximilian Theodore was born on Valentine's Day in 1986. He was truly a blessing, a joy, and a gift from God. He died suddenly and unexpectedly in October of 1988. I miss him greatly to this very day and I can hardly write about him without welling up inside with tears and gratitude.
We had three children after Max and with each one the doctors and nurses would ask Mrs. Diamond if she wanted the testing. I'll never forget the tongue lashings she gave those nurses and doctors. She would ask them, "FOR WHAT"? and proceed to unleash a ferocious lecture at them about not killing children. I was never so proud of her as when she would do that.
Cordially,
