How about those killed for having a Bible?
Are you claiming the Albigensians?
well? what about that Catholic Church who kept everyone from the bible until Gutenberg came along and started printing bibles for the masses!
Except Except Except...
Gutenberg was a Catholic and the bible he printed was the Latin Vulgate!
Most of the incunabula (early printed bibles) were printed by Catholics and were in Latin or the vernacular.

How about those killed for the mass?
Research Oliver Cromwell and also the many priests killed for the mass and the Catholic martyrs of the English Reformation.
Only posting tracts against one side doesn’t reflect the whole picture.
The RCC issued decrees that prohibited ownership of translations which it considered incorrect. It find no RCC decree or recommendation that possession of an unapproved bible be met with death. The only person I can find who was executed for distributing banned bibles was Tyndale, again in England, and again where “heresy” was the excuse but the reason he died was crossing the monarchy.
Otherwise I find nothing other than blogs referring to the RCC putting people to death for bible ownership and none reference anything to back up these claims.
