GREENVILLE, S.C. Religious liberties were a hot topic at the Citizens United Freedom Summit Saturday, with Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal taking particular offense at a remark made by Hillary Clinton on the issue.
Jindal wondered how Clinton could actually change an individuals religious views saying, And by the way the speech in this conference where she said those of us who are pro-life should need to have our religious beliefs changed. She didnt say how. What does it mean? Re-education camps? She proposed to have our religious beliefs changed.
You have to see her most recent comments on religious liberties. Those of us that are pro-life need to have our religious beliefs changed. I cant imagine a more preposterous and offensive comment, Jindal said.
Clinton made the remarks in a speech she gave at the annual Women in the World conference in New York City on April 23.
I’m guessing she’ll be steering clear of any talk of changing the religious views of the followers of one particular prophet.
For her to say such a thing is a stunning in-your-face attack on the First Amendment. The government is not to dictate acceptable and unacceptable religious doctrine. Her comment is so over-the-top inappropriate that had the media not ditched their role a long time ago, they would have quizzed her endlessly about it.
The best way to deal with her comment is say “OK, we can open two wings to the camp. the other is for reeducating homosexuals because it to is behavorial too.
Se tosses it out now and then the hubub happens a while and is forgotten. 2 years from now the left says “This has been discussed for 2 years and no one complained. The American people have spoken.”
The sheep don’t want to be uninvited to parties so they simply nod and say Well of course! Everyone knows TAT!!!”
See the past 20 years for that pattern repeating over and over on a lot of topics.
They way to stop it is as above. Call her on it and NEVER let up.
How is that NOT establishment of a specific Religion?
But don’t expect to many people to question her on this. She has gotten a free pass so far.
Exactly.
Jindal wondered how Clinton could actually change an individuals religious views saying, And by the way the speech in this conference where she said those of us who are pro-life should need to have our religious beliefs changed. She didnt say how. What does it mean? Re-education camps? She proposed to have our religious beliefs changed.
As someone once opined, "That woman has the smell of the deathcamps on her."
Why yes, Bobby, now that you ask, that's exactly what she means.
That one statement of hers alone reveals the true evil that is the political left.
What a monumentally stupid thing to say. And she means it.
No problem. The left can just ban the bible as hate speech. They have the power. Same place they found the right to abortion and now homo marriage. The founders wrote it into the constitution using invisible ink. Only leftist lawyers/judges can see it.
She means change from every religion to Huma’s religion.
Re education camps = public schools
And private schools too once the courts take over who can be hired fired and what must and must not be taught
Well, Her Thigh Ness is just staying true to her Marxist roots.I have always believed that she is every bit the Communist as Obama. 95% of Democrats as well.
Deep down inside where she lives*, I bet Killary regrets saying that. Her true, radical, leftist personality got exposed just a little bit. Just the tip of the iceberg.
*Tied with Hell as an undesirable place to live.
Nice to see someone speak truth to power isn’t it? Nice play, Governor Jindal. Making headlines is the way to get it done.
I thought this deadly remark by Hillary was going to get totally ignored, by both the media and by our side. Nice to see Jindal is awake and moving on it— enough to get a headline.
You’re a very bright man, governor, what do you think she means?
“The left can just ban the bible as hate speech. They have the power.”
IIRC, that’s already been done in Canada, especially against the quotes about homosexuality found in both the Old and New Testaments.
Mark Steyn has felt the wrath of those empowered Canadian courts of political correctness.
Hillary is known to possess an ego larger than the Hindenburg & as volatile as Mario Cuomo’s. She would scoff at Gov. Jindal’s accusation and call it just an inauguration of even greater things to come.
My thoughts exactly......
Simply another reason to homeschool while we still have the freedom to do so.
